This was a short game whilst it did have some novelty it quickly wore off with the amount of "go fetch" quests. The whole game basically can be condensed to "go interact with this specific item based on the character" and "go find mementos". so basically a go fetch game, which if you like you probably will enjoy but this one wasn't for me. The story was OK and personally very loosely based on Greek mythology but this interpretation was a bit too loose as someone who likes Greek mythology. I did play to complete it all and get all the trophies which felt like a bit of a grind but that's just because it's not something I would come back to play and I certainly wouldn't have paid full price for this game. However, I did like that it told you before entering a "you cannot go back after this point" which was great but this is as part of the endgame of the game. The final endgame was just tedious - but I wont give any spoilers, if you know you know. The best part of this game was the scenic spots and the music. The graphics were good and the seagulls were cute. The fixed camera angles that jumped depending on where you are forcing you to change the angle that you were moving was very frustrating to the point they were off putting. The fast travel doors are a great concept but seem unevenly distributed across the map and don't try to use them from the central point that has all the doors at night unless you have remembered which door goes where as the symbols are impossible to read anytime after sunset.
Simplesmente maravilhoso!

A nice little casual game, lots of running backwards and forwards, getting things for oddball gods, with a fail dose of history.
A fun and enjoyable twist on Greek mythology! It's at times a bit TOO heavy on positive affirmations (not in itself a problem, but it sounds pretty similar coming from most of the characters) and at points the myths and gods feel sanitised to the point where they verge on misrepresentation. Still, it's charming, and the gameplay loop didn't get boring for me. I like the home base, and getting to know the people on the island more (which luckily is a core part of the gameplay!). Well worth a look if you enjoy (platonic) relationship sims and mythologically inspired games! Play this and then Hades 1/2 for a soft start before the roguelike beat-down.
Just a heads up: my playtime on this game is inaccurate as my SteamDeck will no longer connect to wifi. I finished and platinumed this game in 18.6 hours. I would really recommend this game! It's a good example of a friendship sim. It looks very nice, ran at a smooth FPS with no drops, and had an engaging story and a fun gameplay loop. I played on my Steamdeck and it worked 100% perfectly. Sometimes it felt like a logic puzzle figuring out the order to progress the story and I liked that. It's a "cozy" take on the Greek gods but I found it to be a nice calming game to play. I got this game on sale but would honestly pay full price for it!
I really enjoyed this game, the simple but distinct art and fantastic storyline.
3/5. Yer average adventure game. Conversation with characters is just interesting enough to keep playing. Could have benefitted from challenging puzzles (currently, they are rote) and more eyelid on the characters (everyone looks INCREDIBLY INTENSE at all times). Edit: I think I would have absolutely loved it as a tween when in my Greek mythology phase, although my favorite part would have been "well, actually..."ing it.
A wonderful quick and cozy game! While it isn't as dark as Wytchwood or as long as Yonder, it was filled with fun and interesting characters and charming tasks to complete. I loved the ties to Greek mythology and the music was fantastic! I wish it were longer but glad that they didn't drag out the ending.
This is a fantastic game. I genuinely feel like the people who were complaining about the ending weren't actually listening to what the characters were saying throughout the story. Ultimately, this is a story of shared hurt, and shared responsibility. They each acknowledge that others hurt them, and how their own actions hurt themselves and others. I'm not shocked at all by the ending. Other than that, there was an incredibly frustrating hour trying to figure out how to unlock the second to last memory, but for the most part the game was very smooth, gently leading you from one item to the next. Super relaxed gameplay, no rush at all, and overall an enjoyable experience.
