Myths are 100% True is a stand out of its genre. Its movement options are easy to pick up and progression on them is challenging in an enjoyable way. The sense of speed feels amazing, especially if going for high scores when you correctly and effortlessly zip through the levels and myths trying to stop you. The game's style is unique, reminiscent of youtube videos using white text on blue background default from windows movie maker that populated the early 2000s. The characters and world are fun to experience, NPCs have some really funny things to say and react when you (rudely) snap their pictures. You're missing out if you haven't tried the demo at least and I can assure you the full game is worth that price and more.

It's a lot out of what I like about platformers: That "0-to-100 itch" that other games like Ultrakill give me, the fast pace, it just feels right to me. I only wish there was more to it in terms of levels because it's so enjoyable I just want more of it. The grouping of enemies to deal more damage / earn higher scores is a great idea and I think it does the job of differentiating this game from its inspirations really well. My only gripe is that the enemy placement can feel a little same-y at times, but I think this is a great platformer overall.
