While I didn't quite like the previous game (due mainly to story and content reasons), I acknowledged it had great puzzles, and an overall solid gameplay. This was completely lost here. It is an old-school HOG game, with tons of HOG scenes, and while these work fine enough, it is definitely a pretty mediocre HOG game, (and I've played plenty, this is not a matter of me not liking HOGs, for I do, and also not me dumping on and older title, for I've liked many of those). HOGs often live or die by their story, and this one's is horrendous. It makes zero sense, I don't see how anyone other than children could appreciate it (and the character design of practically every woman portrayed in the game actually makes it seem like it's intended for a mature audience, which makes, again, zero sense). Some puzzles are great, others are mid, and others are awful. HOG scenes are fair, but are pretty old school (no active places or puzzles within these scenes), and there's way too many of them, so they grow pretty old. Lastly, and also relevant, achievements are the worst. Some people have played this over 4 times to get all of them, and even though I've found most of them to be pretty standard, and I was even going to play it again to get all of them, I realized too late that I couldn't: there's an achievement for finishing the game in under 5 hours the FIRST time you play it. Meaning that if I wanted to get that achievement, I'd have to create a new profile, and win the game twice again (because you need to do it twice on one profile to get the achievement for getting all other achievements on one profile). This is one of the worst achievements I've seen in any game, and I'm definitely not up for wasting that much time on this just to 100% it. I'm glad it's over.
Really good longer hidden object game with lots of varied puzzles and locations and good quality of life features. Extra end game levels, nice artwork and dark, gothic atmosphere. Fun enough to replay for extra achievements.
FIrst game was pretty solid, went into this one expecting similar but its a junes journey mobile game with a nonsensical meandering story. Dracula, with his well known bff Van Helsing, goes back and forth from Translyvania to France to London to New Orleans to Translyvania to get some matches and a wad of gum to fix a painting or some ♥♥♥♥. Puzzles are generally pretty good, but as a sequel to the first game, hard non recommend.
I would love to recommend this game at the sale price of $1, but I can't even do that. I had a lot of fun with it, but it crashed to desktop every 5 or ten minutes. I tried some suggested fixes and those didn't work. Only way to avoid it was to go to the main menu every few minutes and exit the game myself; otherwise, the game wouldn't save my progress and send me waaaay back. I have replayed some sections of this game about 10 times, despite only 2 playthroughs being necessary to 100% the achievements. All this because it just kept resetting my progress. Don't buy.
big supportor of Frogwares games... this game is a lot of fun for the price its a good few hours of fun voice cast is pretty decent and the graphics still look pretty good
This is what most of those big fish games should be - including Elephant, 5Bin, etc. The graphics were beautiful. The story was good. There were lots of locations. And the perfect amount of dialog. There were lots of puzzles. And even cool object collections to get to the puzzles. But the worst part of the entire game was the unforgivable part were the hidden object scenes every 2 minutes. I almost rage quit a couple of times. It's actually distracting from the game. And there are no reason for so many of them. Very good game, would be great, except for the hidden object scenes. Thank You!!!!!!
Pleasently surprised by this game lol it is so worth playing just for the voice acting alone, it is so hilarious. Especially igor, i was laughing so much while playing this. If we are talking puzzles, the game is actually not on the easier side with many of the different puzzles. However, it is managable. I played on easy mode so that if im stuck, i could use help. The Vibe, Music and Art of the game were matching perfectly with what the game was going for. It was refreshing for me. I liked how we visited many different areas around the world, as well as how the map told you if you missed somethig or not in a specific region (on easy mode atleast) that helped get thru the game much faster (if you are trying to get achievements this might be important). Overall, fun game !
I kind of enjoy this in a 7/10 way . above average hidden object, with hysterical vocals. but i am stuck now , nowhere a location to go to , no hints. i need one more acorn, and that should trigger a HO scene. but it doesnt. so i do not recommend. because if it takes this much effort to get a slightly above average working game working after 3 hours , it feels like a waste of time.
The story is SO BAD, and I love it. I love that the game acts like you're a good person, I love the brain-dead "will you bite the sexy lady?" morality system, and I even love that the visuals are just so completely over-the-top. You're trying to rescue Mina by teaming up with Van Helsing, for Pete's sake. The game worked fine for me, and most of the puzzles were good, so I'll recommend it happily.
Dracula: Love Kills — это приключенческая игра в жанре «поиск предметов» с элементами головоломок. Игрок берет на себя роль графа Дракулы.
