About
Mysteries of Perception is a 2D investigative game structured like a choral narrative where you can jump from one character's perspective to another during the investigation. To gather more clues and progress in your investigation, it will be necessary to collect information from all viewpoints and confront them to reach plausible conclusions. Confirm your theories by consulting the stars. Jump from a past to a future perspective and discover every facet of the mysterious deaths that will be presented to you.
Dive into this dystopian universe with desaturated colors and solve the mysteries that govern the world. Perhaps you will uncover the mystery of your own death...
See through their eyes.
See the world through the eyes of more than five different characters and perceive the scene from their point of view. Some will see details that the ordinary person will overlook. Others will see the world in an even more unique, biased, strange manner. The information you obtain from them will be all the more subtle to decipher...
Each character will provide you with new pieces of the puzzle.
Untangle the plot.
During each investigation you will amass evidence and incriminating elements by interacting with the world around you. You can use them in the Constellarium. You have always thought better when gazing at the stars. By placing your evidence in the right spot, the path to the truth will become clearer and clearer.
Under the Iron Star
The continent has been under the yoke of an authoritarian party for too long. The Astralist Party promotes individuals with high animic potential, considering them superior to others. Dirty tricks and manipulations are multiplying within the party as a revolutionary cell, active for over twenty years, begins to challenge the authorities hold on the artifacts. These relics, are ornate bones from past civilizations that, according to myths, hold powerful powers.

Simple and solid I had the same feeling I did with Lucifer Within Us, if you've ever played that, where I was left wanting more
Nope. Sorry. It just flew over my head. It is a detective visual novel, some kind, but the whole detective part is only pixelhunting, where you need to find glowing green stars and read the text. After you have found everything, you have to put together a story, which can be brute force if you didn't get something, and you won't because the story is a mess. The whole game is around 1 hour long, and it contains 3 chapters, but it doesn't feel very coherent, and the ending is unsatisfactory. But at least the art style is nice.

Petit jeu sympa.
It's a fun game that takes you into an imaginative world. I really appreciate the gameplay that makes you switch from different characters point of view and from different point in time. The negative point for me would be that the game's a bit short. With all the worldbuilding that this game introduce you to, it really makes you want to dive more into this universe! I enjoyed meeting all those different characters and would enjoy to learn more about each of them :)
First thing, this game is short. I'm perfectly fine with games being short, but I want it to be longer because of the games real strength - the world building. This game has a really interesting world that makes me want to know more about the world and characters. Clearly inspired by The Golden Idol this is a short experience that will scratch that Golden Idol itch you might be having. I will note there are a few item descriptions that have not been translated into english, but they aren't required to complete the puzzles. Just a bit of good old fashioned thinking. Definitely a prototype for what I'm hoping are future games in this world.
A very interesting game, especially in terms of characters and artwork. It is very short and left me wanting more, but I'll still recommend getting it on sale.
Interesting concept, but for this price I cannot recommend it. It feels very much like an hour long demo and not a fully finished game.
