Pawsome Cats in Kittynawa

If you enjoy "find all the cats" games, definitely add this to your collection. It's beautiful, each cat has something to say to you, and clicking everything is encouraged to gain extra achievements (like turning on every light or opening up every box). When you finish the main village, you're not done with the story yet. More quests await! I wish it was longer because I enjoyed it so much but the high quality of the game makes it worth the price. I would even pay more for it. Two thumbs-up!

XD[/h1] [h2]Introduction[/h2] [i]Pawsome Hidden Cats - Kittynawa[/i] is a cat-themed, cozy, cute hidden object game developed by Gemcraft Games and Horny Tales and published by Gemcraft Games. Well known for its [i]Purrfectly Hidden Cats[/i] series, the publisher released this first title in the [i]Pawsome Hidden Cats[/i] series. You take on the role of Shugoshu, who has the ability to talk to cats. There's trouble in the magical land of Kittynawa, and it's up to you to put a stop to it. Is it possible without making things worse? :o As for the gameplay, it has the usual controls. When you find a cat or other object, you click on it with your left mouse button. You can interact with lots of items, such as pots and bushes. The mouse wheel can be used to zoom in and out of the scene, and there are a total of 2 scenes. No hint feature is available although you can adjust the game's volumes (both sound and music) as well as change between full screen and windowed mode. Lots of Steam achievements are available, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited". [h2]Review[/h2] Even though I've had this game in my library almost from the time of its initial release, I was only able to recently get around to it. Still, it was the only cat-themed HOG by Gemcraft Games that I hadn't gotten around to, so I personally wanted to complete this genre by the publisher. Like the other previous cat-themed games, there is a fun story here. I like that it takes place in a different world, a magical one inspired by Japanese mythology. The story itself is quite involved, especially when you find out that it involves two rivals who have different ways of thinking. While one justifies the chaos in Kittynawa, the other is duty bound to stop it. Of course, this story has a resolution, and it's quite sweet and happy. However, it is the gameplay that's the main focus. It's fun finding all of the cats, especially when they make cute meowing sounds. I didn't have much trouble finding all of the items. After having played plenty of these games, I learned that lots of interaction with objects is key. It helps that zoom functions are available even though I wish that a hint feature was in place. Still, the gameplay is very relaxing, and all of the achievements are obtainable. In regards to the art, it has a lovely hand-drawn style with the backgrounds and sprites. It feels a bit anime-inspired but with a cat-themed focus. The music is all instrumental, with focus being on string instruments, such as the koto. They're relaxing to listen to, perfect as you're playing the game. If you enjoy relaxing hidden object games, especially cat-themed ones, like Gemcraft Games' previous HOGs (such as the ones in the [i]Purrfectly Hidden Cats[/i] series), and/or like getting all those Steam achievements, then this is definitely worth checking out. As for the asking price, I think it's worth considering, but you can wait for a sale since it can feel on the shorter side. I'm hoping that Gemcraft Games will continue making more games in this series, as it shows promise, although it seems like the publisher is focusing on other types of games for now. 3歳の娘と一緒にプレイしました。ネコ探しのパートがめっちゃ気に入ってました。 娘が寝たあと、自分でも続けて遊んでみたけど、アニメのネタがいろいろ仕込まれてて楽しかったです。 全体的にすごくいいゲームです。最初、開発者の名前に「Horny Tales」ってあって、 全年齢向けかちょっと不安になったけど、プレイしてみたら全然大丈夫でした！ I played this with my 3-year-old daughter. She really enjoyed the first part where you search for cats. After she went to bed, I continued playing myself and had fun spotting all the anime references. All in all, it’s a really great game. The only thing that made me hesitate at first was that one of the developers is called “Horny Tales,” which made me second guess if the game was safe for all ages, but it turns out it absolutely is.

One of my favorite hidden cat series. I have played all the available games so far and hope we get to see more from these developers. The world they created around the cats feels warm and enjoyable.

Naruto, Death Note, Sailor Moon, Harry Potter, and so many more, but as cats. I love the improvements on making it very clear when the other achievement based items have been clicked (birds, lights, traffic cones, etc.). 5/10

互动点击物品非常多【当然了跟成就息息相关】，所以挨个点过去了，过瘾了。 每只小猫点亮了都会变换形态，一点都不敷衍 只有2个场景，但是有好几种玩法，普通点亮+遮罩式+微boss战【笑死了】+不知道怎么形容，就是你得找到目标猫猫要的东西 【什么时候找猫界能有自己的专业名词，喊我一下】 但是没有中文，文本量有一点，叽里咕噜说什么呢，算了管它呢

This game was gifted to me by Adam1224 from PoP Secret Santa. Pawsome Hidden Cats – Kittynawa is a really cozy little hidden object game and just nice to relax with. I love the color palette in this one, it’s soft and warm and fits the cat theme perfectly. The music is also great and makes searching for cats feel calm rather than stressful. I’ve played the developer’s other hidden cat games before, and this one feels like a clear improvement. The artwork looks better, everything is easier to read, and the puzzles flow more smoothly. My only real complaint is the lack of a hint feature, which can get a bit frustrating when you’re stuck. Still, if you enjoy chill hidden object games and cats, this one is definitely worth playing.

Gotta love looking for cats.
