Very short and mediocre. There's almost no story and only a few locations. The hidden-object scenes are OK. The puzzles vary from moderate to trivial difficulty.
Cheap production quality and absurdly hard puzzles squeezed between mediocre hidden object scenes. There are a ton of HO games out there worth your time and money; this isn't one of them.
If you are a player that cares to read the reviews then you already know to look at the hours played for the person reviewing the game. "Wow, what a great game!" from a player with 2 hours or less is pretty telling. I completed Mysteries of Neverville: The Runestone of Light and have only 2 hours to show for it, so be aware it is a short game. It is not bad, but it ins't great either. Get it in a bundle, from a giveaway, or on sale and you'll enjoy it.
Good if you have a couple of hours to spare, but nothing special. Only recommended for fans of the genre.
[b]Büyülü Bir Dünya: Mysteries Of Neverville Mysteries Of Neverville: The Runestone Of Light'a ilk kez adım attığımda, gizemli bir atmosferin beni sardığını hissettim diyebilirim. Sonuç olarak Mysteries Of Neverville: The Runestone Of Light benim için unutulmaz bir deneyim oldu. Her anından keyif alacağınızı garanti edebilirim. I did enjoyed this game! The game has good story and really nice graphics. You play as Valerie, daughter of Cygnus Rastlin (archmage) and have to save the town Neverville and your father by recovering the magical rune stones to protect the village. There are a lot of mini games and puzzles – the difficulty starts low and increases with playing (there was a time or two I used the hint, but not often). The HOs are all straight forward seek and find – some of the objects are a bit small – but if you really don´t find one – there is a good hint option. There are three game modes (difficulty) … Normal/Hard/Detective. Unfortunately they can't be changed during playing so make up your mind in the first 15 minutes to not waste too much time. I needed an afternoon to play the game, what is Ok for a standard edition (it´s not a CE – but there is none I think). The only thing that got me was the abrupt ending. But I will recommend the game because it was really fun and I am not sad about buying it.

Without the Runestone, the town of Neverville and its inhabitants are in great danger as the evil fog has started descending from mountains close by. As time is of the essence, you jump into a coach and travel to Neverville. What will you find upon arriving in town? All will be revealed in the Mysteries of Neverville: The Runestone of Light. Mysteries of Neverville: The Runestone of Light is a casual hidden objects game developed by Urchin Games and published by HH-Games on the Steam platform on the 21st of December 2018. After creating a new player, you’ll have to choose in which difficulty you would like to play the game; Normal, Hard or Detective mode. The difficulty will be based on how fast the hint button recharges, whether or not you see sparkles in active areas, and whether or not you can skip any of the puzzles and hidden objects stages. There are 14 locations to visit in Neverville and you’ll visit each of these locations at least twice during your gameplay. As there is no map to follow your progress, your only resort in order to find where you go next if you are stranded is to hit the hint button, which is fine too, but you’ll have to wait for it to recharge before you can re-use it. As I played on the hard difficulty level, I found that the hidden objects stages were good as the items were well hidden within the pictures. I must say that I exceeded the time limit on several occasions, which is always a good point in this genre of game. Regarding the other puzzles, I must say they were ok, and I did enjoy the varieties throughout the game. The story is ok, and the voice over is actually pretty good. However, the game is very short and doesn’t really have much replay-ability. Graphics-wise, you can tell the game has some age to it. That doesn’t mean it didn’t look good. I played this game on my Titan laptop and on my 32 inch, 4k Samsung monitor without any issues. There is actually on option for wider screen in the settings. What I was very surprised about was the abrupt ending, with no cut-scene whatsoever and just a big end word, which is a shame. Throughout the game you do have a few cut scenes. Yes, they are short, but they’re well-placed and add a little more to this game. Nice but oldish graphics. The story is ok and I think the voice over is well done. I must say that the game is short; around two hours max of gameplay. However, there is a good variety of puzzles and you can skip them if you wish to do so on the normal and hard difficulties. Perfect for people who want to experience a hidden object game for the first time. Positives: ~~~~~~~ + Nice graphics + Fun story and easy to play + Good variety of puzzles + Can skip puzzles if needed (on normal and hard difficulty) Negatives: ~~~~~~~~ - Short game - Abrupt ending - No achievements or trading cards Mysteries of Neverville: The Runestone of Light is a fun, short Hidden Object game with a good variety of puzzles. Perfect for newcomers to the genre. 6/10 Key provided by the developer/publisher for review purposes. Any opinions expressed are entirely my own! Yahooooooooo! This game makes me the FASTEST HOG PLAYER! Not really... It's just THAT SHORT. Heads up: if you are sick, especially running a fever... Don't play this game. It will make it worse. Not the fever... Just your state of being. That saiddddddddddd... The game isn't that really overly hard. All items are laying on the floor... Easy for anyone to grab/see... I think the evil guy in here is related to the summoned one in Lara Croft (co-op series)... Since all they do is close doors or make obstacles... Which could be dealt with pretty easily/fast. Every PUZZLE and HOG scene could be skipped. There is no penalty on HOG scenes. The game is clearly older and ehh... No map function... Which is why you use the HINT system! It will TELEPORT you to the right area! Hah! Got you! Story uh... Well characters are pretty well drawn... But um... It's really easy to figure out the twist and the game... IT JUST ENDS. No really, you do the thing and... "THE END"... I'm like... Wah? I wanted to stick the thingies in the thing!!! Oh and I guess some things don't really make sense... Like what would you use a steel rod for? I thought for like a puzzle or something... You know... Like a lever or hell, even making a tool of sorts? But no... You gotta break the lock with it. It kinda confused me...? Maybe I was seeing things...? No, no...! I am pretty certain it happened! Anyway, I don't know. The game isn't that bad, but I can't come up a really darn good reason for you to play it... Unless you want to play ALL HOGs in existence! There. Yeah. Okay. When in doubt... Stay neutral.
