Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Mycosis is a mix of action and puzzle platformer in the style of classic games. It’s been set in dusty corridors of a mysterious research facility that comes alive and kicking, and it’s up to you whether you blast your way through with a flamethrower or find a way to overcome the traps and puzzles using found objects and environmental features.
You know how it is when you come to work in the morning and a strange infection spreads through the ventilation, turning your colleagues into fungal zombies... Classic. The story of the game is inspired by my vocation as a microbiologist (no, The Last of Us wasn’t the inspiration) and contains many references to both current and past aspects of the Institute of Microbiology (MikroBiologický Ústav in Czech) — hence the subtitle Heroes of MBÚ.
Since childhood, I wanted to create my own game. This debut is my humble tribute to the legendary games like Abuse, Half-Life and the original Fallout. I built the game on my own engine, in Java, as an amateur enthusiast which took me over eight years. It was a long - but amazing - journey. It allowed me to dive in and take pleasure in full creative freedom.
Now! I hope you’ll enjoy as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Mycosis is a very nice game mixing platform and problem solving. Cool story, atmosphere and design!
Mycosis mě hodně baví a doporučil bych ji všem milovníkům 2D akčních adventur. V laboratoři se něco šeredně pokazilo a houby vyrůstají z hlav nebohých výzkumníků. jediný, kdo může pomoct je hráč vybravený sekerou a hasičákem + molotovem :D není to procházka růžovou zahradou, a sem tam Vás čeká i menší hledání cesty. Hodnotím pěti nakaženými chrochtajícími vědci s houbou z ucha z pěti.
Very fun platformer with a silly strange story. If you have a day to burn you'll like it.

Brilliant take on classic games from past. Mycosis is hard where i shoud be, funny where it shoud be a dense where it shoud be. If you want nostalgia filled take on games from ´classical´ era of gaming, dont miss this gem.
At first glance it looks simple, but it quickly turns into a surprisingly deep mix of action, puzzles, exploration and light survival-horror inside a strange underground lab. It feels like a 2D take on Half-Life, with clear inspiration from older immersive shooters, but it has its own identity. You can solve things properly through puzzles, or just brute-force your way through combat if that’s more your style. What really stands out is the passion: interactive lab elements, terminals, little science-style interactions, and new mechanics, enemies and areas across its acts. There is plenty of weapons and gadgets that let you approach situations differently. It’s also clearly made with care by a very small (basically solo) dev, and that shows. Difficulty can be surprising at times, but manual saves help a lot. Exploration is rewarded, and there’s a constant sense that you’re missing things on a first run. On the downside, some UIs and stuff can feel a bit slow, and a few systems could be smoother. Overall, a genuinely creative and underrated indie game with a lot of heart behind it. Recommended if you like atmospheric 2D action with puzzles and secrets. Also, good half life references
Guys, it is very catchy shooting with awesome story!! I started play and I could not stop. The music is awesome, thro story goes fast and you will learn a lot from academia - this game is perfect match of shooting and science!!!
Mycosis is an imaginative, highly creative game that keeps players on their toes with unexpected twists and turns. Combining intense shooting mechanics with clever science-inspired puzzles, players face off against a variety of terrifying monsters using an arsenal of cool, inventive weapons. The game's well-thought-out structure and a great build-up across the game's individual levels ensure a deeply engaging experience, balancing challenge with fun. Fans of science, puzzles, and witty humor will find Mycosis an amazing delight, offering both mental stimulation and fast-paced action in equal measure.
Mycosis is a grim and atmospheric 2D action-platformer that immerses you in a research facility collapsing under the weight of a catastrophic fungal outbreak. Developed largely as a passion project by Tomáš Větrovský and published by Wietrack Softwork, the game leans into a claustrophobic sci-fi horror tone from its opening moments. You take on the role of a scientist trapped inside the quarantined complex, forced to navigate crumbling laboratories, dim hallways, and sealed-off test chambers while confronting the horrifying consequences of the infection. Fungal growths cling to walls, spores float through the air, and former colleagues wander the corridors as grotesquely mutated creatures. The environment does most of the heavy lifting in storytelling, transforming the facility into a living, breathing threat that is constantly reshaping itself around you. The gameplay balances frantic encounters with careful problem-solving. Mycosis doesn’t rely solely on action; instead, it asks players to approach each area with caution. Ammunition and tools are limited, and enemies are rarely mindless obstacles. Some encounters are best handled through direct combat using firearms or improvised weapons, while others are more efficiently bypassed through stealth, avoidance, or manipulation of the environment. Puzzles break up the tension, often requiring you to reroute power, unlock secured doors, operate machinery, or navigate ventilation systems. This blend of combat and environmental awareness keeps the pacing varied enough to maintain suspense throughout the campaign. A significant part of the game’s charm comes from its retro influences. The developer’s affection for classic PC action games shows in the deliberate level design, the minimalistic delivery of story elements, and the gritty pixel-art aesthetic. The visuals may appear simple at a glance, but they are carefully constructed to evoke a sense of decay and contamination. Lighting plays an important role as well—dimly lit rooms, long shadows, and flickering emergency lamps reinforce the feeling that safety is always one room farther than expected. Even without high-end graphics, the game achieves an oppressive atmosphere that lingers as you progress deeper into the fungus-infested facility. The world-building deserves recognition not for loud exposition but for the small environmental details scattered throughout. Abandoned lab equipment, incomplete research logs, and makeshift barricades speak to the scientists’ desperate attempts to contain the outbreak. While the narrative is never delivered in sweeping story arcs, these subtle touches gradually piece together the history of the disaster and deepen the sense of dread surrounding your journey. This quiet approach to storytelling fits the nature of the game: solitary, tense, and constantly uncertain. As a solo-developed indie title, Mycosis inevitably carries some rough edges. Enemy variety is limited, and some later encounters rely more on trial and error than true strategic depth. A few puzzles can feel repetitive, while certain areas ask for precision that the controls do not always fully support. Players may also find the pacing uneven, with stretches of exploration that feel overly long or areas that demand backtracking through visually similar corridors. Yet these imperfections are balanced by the authenticity of the experience—the sense that the game was built with genuine creative intent rather than according to market formulas. Mycosis is ultimately a testament to thoughtful indie design: modest in scope but ambitious in atmosphere, built with care, and grounded in a love for classic sci-fi horror. It offers a journey that feels personal and hand-crafted, with enough mechanical variety and environmental storytelling to sustain its tense, seven-hour campaign. For players who appreciate moody 2D adventures, enjoy survival-driven exploration, and aren’t deterred by a bit of indie roughness, Mycosis delivers a uniquely unsettling plunge into a fungal nightmare. Rating: 7/10
Only recommended under a good discount, the game offers interesting mechanics and weapons but we don't get enough time to play around with them, there is a lot of unique weapons and tools you can use but i managed to beat the whole game by mostly using same 2-3 guns and occasionally throwing grenades. I feel like the game is too short and doesn't has enough unique enemies. compared to the amount of unique weapons and tools it offers. I also feel like with how items work in this game and what they do, it would be neat if the game offered something like a "survival" mode or another part where you manage these resources to survive. I hope developer will come back to expand on the game, at least to make more levels with designs which reward the player for using their weapons and tools with unique creativity, the electrical gun has an interesting way to kill enemies but you hardly get enough chances to use it for fun kills
If you won't get discourage by its look, you will be rewarded by nice gameplay with plenty of options and interactions. Great game. Getting nice Last of us vibes.
