I bought *My Time at Sandrock* because I saw **Logan**. I continued playing because I met **Fang**. And somewhere along the way, I accidentally became a responsible Builder (maybe XD) who spent hundreds of hours saving a town, managing machines, mining at ungodly hours, and collecting enough resources to start my own industrial empire. What I expected: * Romance the hot outlaw. * Befriend the mysterious doctor. What actually happened: * Running around the desert at 2 AM looking for one specific resource. * Hoarding materials like a dragon. * Saying "just one more quest" at midnight and suddenly it's 3 AM. * Developing emotional attachments to fictional townspeople. The characters are what really got me hooked. I came for Logan and Fang LOL, but the whole town ended up growing on me. The story was way more interesting than I expected, and there were several moments that actually made me emotional. The gameplay has that dangerous "one more day" feeling. I'll tell myself I'm just going to finish one commission, and suddenly it's 2 AM and I'm reorganizing my storage boxes for the third time. The crafting loop is dangerously addictive. Every time you finish a machine, the game gives you three more things to build, and somehow you happily agree. The story is surprisingly engaging, the combat is fun, and the amount of content is ridiculous. Excited for the next My Time Series "My Time at Evershine" 10/10.
good
Steam pestered me for a review so, here you go.
Wish I had paid more attention to the writing in the early game. Game is fantastic. Easily over 100 hours, loved the ending and will be getting the sequel day 1. Thank you Pathea!
Después de acabar el juego me pregunto, cómo es que esto no tiene más público? Juegazo, lo recomiendo mucho!
235 hours played. Superb game. ☆ Romance/Relationships ☆ Storyline ☆ Combat ☆ Crafting/Building ☆ Cozy Sim Life Game
Between the demo and the main game, I've now played 12+ hours of Sandrock, and I'm enjoying it a fair deal! Harvesting materials is fun, mobility feels good overall, combat is simplistic but fluid and enjoyable, and the NPCs are pretty cool. Note that the demo seems to be one of the earlier versions of the game (to the point that the title screen has the character models simply slide into place rather than walk into place), but you're still able to get a fairly decent feel for how the gameplay goes. Also, fall damage does exist, though from what I've found, most jumps from the rooftops in town to the streets below are safe - just don't expect that to be true of all heights like I did, lol. You'll probably want to try and fulfill as many commissions as soon as possible, too, since some of your ways to make money are locked behind getting a high enough repute as a builder. Building friendships with the NPCs also takes time; playing a game of critters seems a fairly reliable way to help bridge the gap, though. If you're unsure about getting the game, go ahead and try out the demo! If you're anything like me, you'll probably come to love the game in no time :)
Amazing game gutted you cant get achievements in multiplayer guess i will have to relive all the fun again cant wait to do solo
Un jeu avec un rythme qui s'adapte bien aux joueurs, des méchaniques variés et une histoire intéressante, que demande le peuple ?
