Mutropolis

I mostly enjoyed this game. It was a bit slow at times. It definitely had too many weird pauses between dialog when I thought something might be wrong because I couldn't click anything. Nope. I just had to wait for animation between some dialog I clicked through.

10/10 Will play again. You do need a walkthrough handy but most puzzles are intuitive and logical :) Love the characters too!

As a big fan of point and click adventure games, I really wanted to like this game. There is lots of like, the story, while strange, is interesting. Same for the characters. Technically the game is good, no bugs encountered, graphics, voice and sound are all good. Where the game does fall down is with the puzzles. Unfortunately, they are mostly either easy or obscure. Not completely nonsensical, but they sometimes didn't make sense even after I was forced to consult a walkthrough to solve them. The adventure game I played prior to Mutropolis, Prim, from the same publisher (but not the same developer), was a great example of what I am looking for in a point and click adventure - in addition to a great story and characters, I never had to consult a walkthrough. However, there aren't many point and click adventure and I want to support the few that are published. I would just ask the developers to please pay more attention to the puzzles.

Me ha gustado mucho, algunos puzzles me han costado (spoiler) pero el lenguaje de emojis me ha hecho mucha gracia, sobre todo al final. Si lo recomiendo.

プレイしたのはしばらく前です。 手描き絵＋SF推理アドベンチャー＋古代エジプト神ってどんな話なの？的な好奇心で購入。 西暦5000年の考古学者達が目指すのは、人類がほぼ住まなくなって久しい地球に残る古代文明の痕跡。その古代の年代とは3000年ほど前、ということで我々の生きる時代で普通の諸々が神秘の古代遺物扱いです。そこに我々にとっても古代であるエジプト神話が絡むのです。 温かみのある手描きアートでほんわりした雰囲気の中によく考えるとギョッとすることも混ざっていたり、推理あり発見ありの中、様々な愛情に溢れたロマンティックコメディ要素が次々と出てきて想定外のドキドキを感じながら夢中で話を追ってました。 任意のタイミングで複数セーブ可能、時々振り返りたい場合は要所要所で保存できます。 ヒントを参照したり主人公ヘンリー君の感想を聞いたりするほか、拾い集めたアイテムを工夫して使ったりします。適さない時はそれについても言及があったり、謎アイテムを貯め込んでしまうのが何となく理解できるのも面白いです。 次回作のThe Risingも楽しみにしています。

Well, the game is not that long, but nice. I like the style - graphics, atmosphere, humour and music all. I found the difficulty very fitting. Some might find it a little easy, but I do like not having to consult a walkthrough too often. If you're looking for a good, classicy point and click, give it a shot.

It was super fun! The story is also great! I confess that I needed to follow along the walkthroughs at some points, since I felt quite lost. But overall really great game.
