At its best, it offers glimpses of classic platforming nostalgia, but at its worst, it stumbles headfirst into design decisions that could make even the most patient players rage quit. The premise is simple: You play as a successful streamer who receives a golden plaque in recognition of his achievements. But the celebration is cut short when the prized plaque is stolen, prompting our hero to chase down the evildoers responsible. While this setup may appeal to those familiar with the character’s online presence, newcomers are left without any meaningful introduction, reducing him to a generic platforming protagonist. Controls are basic but serviceable. You can move left or right, jump, and attack using two moves: a stomp and a microphone throw. The stomp is only usable mid-jump, while the microphone toss requires collecting microphones scattered throughout the stage. The collectibles include hearts (granting extra hits), coins (used for purchases), and microphones. Your microphone stash carries over to other stages, but only if you complete the stage. The same goes for coins, which can be spent at shops between stages to purchase extra lives and microphones. However, the game never keeps track of how many coins there are in a stage, so there’s no need to find them all. Where the game falters is in its platforming mechanics. The jump feels both floaty and slippery, often resulting in overshooting platforms or sliding off edges at the worst possible moment. The sensation of constantly bouncing off ledges because you missed by an inch is aggravating and becomes a frequent death sentence when pits result in instant death. This slippery precision feels counterproductive, especially when compared to the enemy damage system. Taking damage from foes only removes a heart, but falling into pits is unforgiving. With the game aiming for tough, precise platforming, this discrepancy makes deaths feel cheap rather than challenging. The lives system further compounds the frustration. Run out of lives, and the game offers you five continues before it's back to the title screen. Stages are accessed from a top-down view where you guide the character to stage nodes. It’s a neat touch, but ultimately pointless. There’s little to do beyond breaking a lucky pot for extra lives or visiting the shop. Worse yet, after defeating a stage boss, previous areas become locked, preventing players from returning to earlier stages. The stages are well-designed visually, fitting the game's overall setting and theme. Occasionally, you’ll find hidden paths or secrets, which offer some satisfaction in discovery. The enemies, while not particularly varied, do a competent job of providing minor obstacles. They are separated into animals and human enemies. Perhaps the most baffling design choice is the achievement system. Its progress-tracking is tied to the same frustrating checkpoint system. Achievements only register progress when you successfully complete a stage. Die along the way, and all progress is erased. To make matters worse, many of these achievements revolve around basic actions like jumping, throwing microphones, or collecting coins. Yet, by stage 8, I had only jumped 80 times, thrown a microphone three times, and gathered a mere 35 coins. With death so frequent and unforgiving, any attempt at earning achievements is completely pointless.
I'm not really sure if "Mussoumano: Ataque dos Haters" is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. It's an extremely bad "meme" game that seems to be about some Brazilian Youtube nonebrity, or something. Combined with a completely crap platformer experience that is so bad, frankly, that if Nintendo had seen this before making Super Mario Bros, there would be no Super Mario Bros. The game has been in Early Access since 2024 and while it's still getting token, empty updates, it's deep in Development Hell. There's no reasonable expectation that this will ever be completed. Whether the developer lacks the time, funds, or skill/talent required to complete a video game isn't really something gamers should be expected to accept as an excuse. And despite this, the developer is selling the game in places as if it was a complete product, with the deliberate intention to mislead gamers. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. PC gamers will be insulted by the demand from the developer that a console peasant children's toy controller should be used, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for, and must never, under any circumstances dictate to gamers how their games are to be experienced. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this never made it to the video game console appliances it seems to have been designed for. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. "Mussoumano: Ataque dos Haters" has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is "Fighting my way", defeating the first enemy, trivial to achieve, but less than 7 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Unethically, the developer sold keys to this abandoned Early Access game into cheap, nasty game bundles, where they knew it would be advertised and sold as a complete PC game. This seems to have been done in an attempt to mislead gamers into buying a knowingly faulty, defective and incomplete product. When a developer does this for a game they have zero practical intention of completing, this is essentially a scam, an intention to get paid for a broken/unfinished product. Often this is done as an exit strategy, as the developer takes the money and runs. No refunds have been given, the developer kept all the money they took from gamers. Another unethical act of this developer, knowing full well that this game is abandoned and they will never complete it, they are deliberately trying to scam gamers into buying it by offering it on discount and selling keys to the game from third party key resellers. It's impossible to "accidentally" discount a game. The developer looked at their abandoned game, and instead of doing the right thing and removing it from Steam, they instead doubled-down and tried to scam even more people into paying for it. Greedy, and completely unethical. Doing the wrong thing, on purpose, for money. This is not okay. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? "Mussoumano: Ataque dos Haters" is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
achei varios bugs no jogo
