About
Your uncle is hosting a celebration tonight, and the entire village has turned up to corner you with food, ask why your grades are what they are, and pull you into conversations with no exit. You have one objective: reach the door before anyone notices you are trying to leave.

Azooma Escape is a comedy stealth game where the threat is not guards with flashlights. It is relatives with plates of rice. In Arabic, an azooma is a gathering you are not supposed to refuse, which is a problem.
What starts as one teenager trying to survive a single day of overwhelming hospitality becomes something stranger. A family errand that should take ten minutes. A village secret that has been waiting centuries for someone to stumble into it. This event is going to be longer than anyone expected.
Every room is a different kind of ambush. The aunt who needs a full academic progress report delivered in real time. The uncle whose stories have no ending and no point. The cousin who insists you try just one more dessert, and then one more after that. Read their movement patterns, time your steps, and slip through the gaps before someone locks you into a forty-minute conversation about a relative you have never met.
Use tables, low furniture, and crowd cover to stay out of sight. Crouch, weave, and learn the rhythm of each room. When a particularly determined chaser closes the distance and there is nowhere left to hide, throw a teacup at them. It is more effective than it has any right to be.
The celebration has spilled into the courtyards, the alleyways, and every room of the house. Music covers some sounds and makes others worse. Street performers turn quiet corners into impromptu stages. Uncle Shaddad's Culinary Gangsters have locked the village down with food, and they take their hospitality very personally.
And the family is not only the living. Somewhere in the smoke and the noise, the family djinn has joined the search party, and a djinn does not lose people in crowds. Even the supernatural is on the side of staying for one more cup of tea.
Reverse-stealth gameplay built around social pressure, not combat
A festival village with its own rhythm, routines, and traps

A full cast of hosts, aunts, performers, and the family djinn, each with their own agenda
A black cat companion who knows the house better than the relatives do
Drawn from Arabic family life, written for anyone who has ever hidden in a bathroom to avoid a conversation
An azooma is supposed to be an honour. Tonight, it is a tactical problem.
Perfect for stealth fans, cultural comedy lovers, and anyone who’s ever hidden just to avoid a chatty relative.

At first, I was excited by the art style and unique idea, but later the game became repetitive and frustrating. Missions: Most tasks repeat the same loop (go–talk–bring back). This quickly became boring. Suggestion: add more mission types, like exploration or puzzles, to keep the pace fresh. Levels: Rooms often look the same, and the layout feels confusing. Some doors are locked in ways that break the flow, and elements like the scattered vases didn’t add much, and the execution is not the best. Suggestion: give each area a distinct purpose and guide the player more naturally through level design. AI & Stealth : Guards chase instantly when they see you, with no suspicion stage, and they move too fast. Hiding spots are poorly placed, often outside the player’s view, which making the stealth feel unfair. Designing levels around AI behavior is very challenging and requires a lot of iteration and testing to balance properly. Suggestion: add a suspicion phase, slow the guards slightly, and refine level layouts after testing how players interact with AI. Story & Theme: The “Azooma” theme is fun, and an unique idea, but it didn’t feel properly explored or represented in the game. The story and characters quickly became shallow and inconsistent, which broke immersion. Suggestion: research the concept more deeply and show it through small events, or more meaningful interactions to make it feel real. The concept is good and culturally unique, and I respect that the team managed to complete a playable game from start to finish. But with more varied missions, smarter AI, refined level design, and a deeper look at the core theme of “Azooma” the experience could become much stronger and stand out globally.
Although Azooma Escape was developed by a full team with official funding and support in Saudi Arabia, the end result feels more like a first experimental project made by one or two beginner developers. Expectations were high, but the final product is very weak compared to the resources available. The story is almost absent, serving only as a superficial excuse to move from one stage to another. It also contradicts the main character’s personality: someone supposedly trying to escape social life but at the same time automatically accepting side tasks and helping others. This breaks immersion and weakens the player’s motivation. The core gameplay—stealth—is fundamentally broken. Stealth elements are few and simplistic, while the character’s high movement speed makes running away a far easier option than sneaking. Enemy AI is very basic, with no adaptive responses or evolving strategies, leaving the challenge static and repetitive. Missions are repetitive: “go, pick up, return.” Even the ghost stage, which was supposed to add variety, barely changed the core loop. Level design doesn’t make good use of the world either: maps are linear, with lots of empty space, and offer little room for experimenting with different approaches. Character progression is nonexistent; abilities stay the same from start to finish, leaving the experience flat with no sense of growth or reward. Strengths: The game has a unique and humorous concept: turning excessive hospitality into a comedic threat. The cultural setting and lighthearted dialogue add a distinctive flavor, and it’s refreshing to see a Saudi-developed game attempt to bring local identity to a global platform like Steam. Verdict: Azooma Escape carries a bold, funny idea but fails to deliver a cohesive stealth experience. Weak AI, lack of character growth, repetitive missions, and shallow level design make the game feel limited and underdeveloped. With the level of funding and support behind it, the final result should have been much stronger. Score: 5/10
Continuously running and fetching the game. Game is finished with Quality but the gameplay is a Continuous hid & seek with Fetch stuff. Gameplay progress but it gets boring really fast. Also, It is filled with "Influencers" from KSA and I think if they focus on gameplay rather than this it would have been better.
As big as the marketing for this game was, it didn't live up to the hype. While playing the game I encountered so many problems that one might consider small, which I as I thought the team was only made of a couple of people. You can only imagine how I felt when I saw the number of names roll down in the credits. I am not saying the game was all bad, it had its fun moments. The majority of the game's art style was nice, and some of the animations stood out to me like the hiding animation while picking up Amira. Some tracks of the game's music was noticeably good, like the track in the farm levels. The "I" frames were very forgiving at times, but it didn't feel consistent. Some of the boss fights were fun, like the chief of jinn. The first "bad" thing that stood out to me was the walking sounds, they are so annoying especially during chases with a big number of enemies following me. the collision boxes don't feel right as they don't give the player any chance. such as the holes in most levels, even if you get a tiny bit too close to the hole it punishes you which can get real annoying. the map designs are really confusing, and the game doesn't point you to where you are supposed to go except for the "North East"etc that you get from the dialogue. which can make the player feel really lost most of the time, especially when backtracking is required to finish the level. the palm trees in the farm levels are blinding as you can't see where you are supposed to go, or where an entrance would be. I could keep going but I don't want it to seem as if I am nitpicking. Overall I would give the game 5/10 I do not recommend
بداية اللعبة ممتعة وجيدة لكن بعد المرحلة 5 تصير اللعبة تكرار ممل وما فيه أي شي جديد. حرفيا الديمو حق اللعبة يغنيك عن اللعبة الكاملة
really bad game save your time before your money
اللعبه اسطوريه و انصح فيها
a very simple story and mechanic very fun there some bugs would be great if it get fixed - when i respawn the enemy finds me right away while you just respawned it makes the game experience bit frustrating - when im close not on top of the hole i fall right away - the little girl hide and seek there is too many enemies following me makes it hard to pass - the rolling cooldown does not match with the second boss phase (the uncle) its bit long and the boss attack is faster where i cant survive -the amount of gaurds number when you need to escape and they know where you at alot and leave very slim chance to avoid them overall recommended to play.
Unfortunate.
