Не надо тут ляля ,нормальная игруля!
вполне себе вменяемый платформер, не понятно, за что сколько негатива в рецензиях.
Mushroom Men: Truffle Trouble is an unconventional platformer that leans heavily into experimentation, combining side-scrolling movement, environmental puzzles, and a constant sense of pursuit into a single, slightly chaotic experience. Developed and published by Red Fly Studio, the game continues the oddball universe of the Mushroom Men series while deliberately shifting its focus away from straightforward action and toward reactive problem solving. Rather than presenting a relaxed adventure, it places players in a dreamlike scenario defined by pressure, improvisation, and the uneasy feeling of always being chased. The premise is intentionally strange and sets the tone early. Players control Pax, a small mushroom hero who finds himself trapped in a surreal nightmare world where escape is never straightforward. Looming behind him is the Truffle Princess, a massive and destructive presence whose pursuit drives much of the game’s tension. This mechanic fundamentally shapes how the game is played, as lingering too long in any area can result in being overtaken. Unlike traditional platformers that reward exploration at a leisurely pace, Truffle Trouble demands constant forward momentum, forcing players to solve problems quickly and decisively. Gameplay revolves around classic platforming actions such as running, jumping, climbing, and limited combat, but these mechanics are secondary to the game’s emphasis on environmental manipulation. Many obstacles can be pushed, stacked, rotated, or otherwise repositioned, turning each level into a kind of moving puzzle box. Progress often depends on recognizing how the environment can be reshaped in real time to create paths forward, whether that means stacking crates to reach higher ground or shifting objects to block hazards. This focus on physical interaction gives the game its identity, even if execution can occasionally feel imprecise. Adding to the complexity are Pax’s transformations, which grant temporary abilities such as gliding, climbing vertical surfaces, burrowing through terrain, or becoming invisible. These forms dramatically change how certain puzzles can be approached and encourage players to think creatively about combining movement with environmental manipulation. At its best, the game creates moments where quick thinking and clever use of abilities lead to satisfying solutions. At its worst, switching forms under pressure can feel awkward, especially when precise timing is required. The chase mechanic is both the game’s most distinctive feature and its most divisive. The Truffle Princess injects constant urgency into every level, preventing players from casually experimenting with puzzle solutions. This can heighten tension and make success feel exhilarating, but it can also amplify frustration when puzzles require trial and error. Being caught often feels punishing rather than instructive, and some players may find that the pressure discourages creative exploration instead of enhancing it. Visually, Mushroom Men: Truffle Trouble embraces a colorful, whimsical art style that reinforces its surreal tone. Environments are imaginative and varied, with a cartoonish aesthetic that contrasts sharply with the underlying sense of danger. Character designs are expressive and memorable, even if animations and technical polish feel modest by modern standards. The presentation doesn’t strive for realism or spectacle, but it maintains a consistent visual identity that supports the game’s strange, dreamlike atmosphere. Narratively, the game remains intentionally light and abstract. The story functions primarily as a framing device rather than a central focus, providing context for the chase rather than emotional depth or character development. Fans of the series may appreciate the continuity and odd humor, but newcomers will find the narrative secondary to the gameplay systems. The lack of narrative complexity makes the experience feel more like a mechanical experiment than a story-driven adventure. Overall, Mushroom Men: Truffle Trouble is a game defined by its ideas rather than its polish. It takes risks by blending platforming, environmental puzzles, and a relentless pursuit mechanic into something that feels genuinely different from more traditional entries in the genre. Those ideas do not always come together cleanly, and uneven difficulty, control quirks, and pacing issues can undermine enjoyment. Still, for players who enjoy experimental indie platformers and are willing to tolerate rough edges in exchange for originality, it offers a distinctive and memorable experience that stands apart from safer, more conventional designs. Rating: 5/10
This game is really worth the price. Its not the mushroom men from XBOX but its good.
1/10 would not recommend. Even though it was only $2.99, I highly regret spending even that little money on this. Where's the undo button when you need it?
