Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great take on an investigation game, love the supernatural side and game location. Deserves a remaster.
Square Enix never fails to make a visually fantastic game. Not my favorite game they ever made but I really enjoyed my playthrough and will possibly play through it again in the future. 9/10
While relatively short, this game is an interesting story with some plot twists that overall feels good to play, even if you can feel a bit of age and overall clunkiness of some things. Still, voice acting and overall settings are really enjoyable. When it comes to full negatives, they definitely went overboard with collectibles for such a short game.
I enjoyed it. At first, I did think this was going to be a run of the mill kind of generic investigation game. Especially after you are kind of thrown in to collect clues after you get control of your character. But then slowly as the plot unraveled and you got more abilities to use it did become interesting. I just wish there was more to do you know. Like you have the ability to posses people but all you can do is mind read, perhaps peak, and do a little bit of influence. Mind reading is useless apart from few that actually give you something valuable in return. Same with peaking. While influence only allows you to force the character which you posses to remember something. You can’t move these characters; you can’t order them to do something. Which I do think it’s a shame. I would have liked if there was more to do as the game is so short. Like more cases to solve, I would have liked a better choice system where your answers actually matter and if you picked the wrong ones, it would take you to the wrong location which could, no should have consequences on the plot. Because right now you can just pick random answers each time and eventually, you’ll pick the right one. The game doesn’t punish you in any way. I don’t know. The game feels like it was onto something but then it just decides to stay in their safe lane. I do think if they had more content if this story was just, lets say case 1. It would have been better. The whole concept of a ghost detective is really interesting to me, and I just wish they would have done more with it.
this is a hidden gem tbh
Murdered Soul Suspect falls into that category of games where the dev had an interesting concept for a story and the design feels like justification for why they shoehorned it into an interactive medium. It has point and click elements, it has a very perfunctory stealth mechanic and quizzes that are so ridiculous they'll make you face palm later on in the game. The answer to these will be so obvious that in the early game you'll fall into that trap where you think, "there's no way this answer is what they want of you" and you'll pick the wrong one. Imagine you find a corpse on the ground surrounded by shattered glass and a broken window on the fifth floor. The game will ask "what happened?" and the multiple choice goes "a) They were thrown out the window, b) They were sad, c) It's not the fall that gets you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom." Another issue is the movement speed, it's slow. You have an ability to possess people, some items and ghostly remnants and this will actually be your mode of transportation on occasion. It's fun but you'll still wish for a proper sprint and not just a lighthearted jog. Issues aside I liked the game a lot. Even with some predictability to the story given the setting it was still interesting and satisfying with the moody tone hitting the spot.
