its a rather short game but it is a fairly good point and click game
If you are reading this, I'm assuming you're a lot like me. Avid point and click fan who long since burned through all the classics and is always on the lookout for unknown indie gems, hoping against hope there are still rough diamonds hidden amidst all the rubble - and there is a lot of rubble out there leaving us disappointed, if we're being honest. Well, great news, murder on space station 52 belongs to the very very surprisingly shiny diamonds. It's all there - the humour, the ridiculous-but-understandable puzzles, a lovely art style, a cast of whacky characters. I'm having a great time. All the quality of life features are there (double click to leave the screen, show hotspots without needing a keyboard...) And the fact that this is a one person love project makes it all the more impressive. Deserves way more attention

Für rund 7 Euro war Murder On Space Station 52 eine nette Unterhaltung, aber mehr auch nicht. Es ist ein solides Point and Click Adventure mit schöner handgezeichneter Optik und klassischer Rätselkost. Die meisten Aufgaben lassen sich gut und ohne große Frustmomente lösen. Der Spielablauf wirkte auf mich allerdings etwas eintönig. Das Spiel ist in neun Kapitel unterteilt, die oft nach einem ähnlichen Muster ablaufen: Man trifft einen Verdächtigen und erledigt erst einmal eine Reihe Aufgaben für ihn, bevor er bereit ist, über den Mordfall zu sprechen. Der investigative Anteil läuft dabei eher nebenher. Die Befragungen bestehen hauptsächlich aus Multiple Choice Dialogen zum Durchklicken, und Beweise sammeln heißt im Kern Gegenstände anklicken und einsammeln. Auch die Ermittlungs Leinwand im Menü wirkt eher wie Deko. Sie listet Verdächtige und Gesprächsnotizen auf, aber echte Schlussfolgerungen zieht man im Spiel nur sehr selten. Dazu kommen relativ viele Minispiele, die für meinen Geschmack zu häufig den Spielfluss unterbrechen. Eine Option, diese zu überspringen, wäre für mich ein echtes Plus. Unterm Strich: kompetent gemacht, aber als Detektiv Spiel sollte man es nicht sehen. Es erzählt eine Kriminalgeschichte, fordert aber kaum eigene Ermittlungsarbeit.
I really enjoyed it. Don't really play point and click games, cause I lack the skills to do them. It was made well, hoping others will enjoy this game.. Other thoughts, I don't want to say, in case they are spoilers.
Игра занимательна и, не побоюсь того сказать, атмосферна. Одна беда объяснений практически ноль. Чем дальше заходит сюжет, тем больше у меня создавалось впечатление, что я играю не в первую игру из серии. Под конец игры у меня скопилось уйма вопросов, ответы на которые мне не дал даже artbook.
Classy art and music, intriguing puzzles, but ends rather hastily. Was a tad surprised how such a game full of inspiration got neglected by the majority but I`d definitely give it a 9.

Some of the puzzles take you out of the flow of the game, but other than that I really enjoyed this game.
The highlights are the art style, funny dialogue and good (for the most part) voice acting. Aside from the classic point and click mechanics, I didn't really see any investigative one (like putting together and reviewing clues). Puzzles mostly made sense, but there were some frustrating outliers.
