"Move The Chains: Season 1 blew me away! This adult visual novel strikes the perfect balance between heart-pounding drama and authentic character development. Playing as a former five‑star cornerback seeking redemption after prison, I was instantly hooked by the morally complex narrative—you truly feel every choice weighing on your soul as you navigate fame, temptation, and your own demons. The protagonist’s journey is surprisingly human, grounded in real struggles with injury, past trauma, identity, and love **What really sets this game apart is its rich cast—each love interest isn't just eye candy, but a fully‑fleshed personality with their own hopes, flaws, and secrets. From the quiet, childhood friend to the ambitious pre‑med coach’s daughter, the range is stellar. The writing never falls into cliché; even in the harem format, relationships feel earned and emotionally resonant. **Visually, the renders are top‑tier. The use of Genesis 8.1 models, moody lighting, and diverse visual POVs makes every scene feel cinematic and alive and the animations woven in—though modest—add a dynamic touch that enhances immersion. Choices matter. Whether you’re training, partying, studying film, or working on your mental health, you carve your own path—and see the real impact of your decisions Overall, Move The Chains delivers a compelling mix of gritty realism and engaging storytelling. It’s more than just an adult VN—it’s a redemption arc done right. Can’t wait to see where the Wolves take us next!"
i give this novel a thumbs up but i did find it a little disappointing that out of the few s*x scenes we had it was with a girl with a D*ck. the other girls are very pretty i wish the dev had done more with them, i am about 14 hours into the novel and had about 3 or 4 very short s*x scenes and there was also not much to see. a bit of a shame for a visual novel with such beautiful renders! i hope that in the future more will be done with the other girls and longer scenes and more. for the story i give a 6.5/10 for the renders a solid 9/10 and the scenes a 6/10. fix the scenes make them longer and show more and the points could have all been 9 out of 10. keep up the good work dev. :heart174:
Tried playing the game but only got a white screen with the dialogue at the bottom. Not sure if this is just happening to me or not.
Cool creative story for adults. Atmospheric, very good graphics, excellent vizualization and detail of models. A nice bonus in the form of a large number of achievements.
its a great game only worry is the slow updates but if improved can imagine it being one of the best adult vn i have played
great game 10/10
It is by far the best in its category, the only thing missing is the few and short sex scenes and the main character's hair is a teenage job
Overall story is alright but there are really jarring gaps between scenes. You'll find yourself ending a conversation with someone click next then suddenly you're in a completely different place talking to someone different. You end up trying to figure out where you are and why you are there. You finally grasp what it is that is going on then boom another big cut to a totally different location and discussion. This happens a lot, so the experience is like reading a bullet point list of what someone wanted to include in the story with little context and you have to fill in the gaps.
I was pretty negative about this game at first, and I still have some issues with it. The Auto function is broken or it's missing. There is a button I think is auto and it throws an exception when I click it. There are no tool tips so I have to guess from the pictures. The glossary button to look up terms seems to have vanished in a later chapter too. Clicking the yellow text causes it to throw an exception. In the first episode, I wasn't happy with how abrupt the transitions between scenes were. There are several moments where you're talking to one person and then suddenly doing something completely different with little explanation. Thankfully, this becomes much less of an issue in the later episodes. Another problem is that, in the later episodes, you don't spend enough time with the people you live with. A few additional scenes with them sprinkled throughout the story would have helped those relationships feel more present. The save/load interface also isn't very keyboard-friendly. In the load menu, the images and text don't visually react when a slot is highlighted, so I often have to use the mouse. Saving isn't as bad because empty save slots do change when highlighted. I play using a Steam Controller and try to rely on keyboard controls, but without proper visual feedback it's difficult to know where the cursor will move when pressing a direction. Despite these issues, the story does get better as you progress into the later episodes, and I ended up enjoying it more than I initially expected. I also tried the optional patch on itch.io that's supposed to make the writing less politically correct. I essentially bought the game a second time just to try it, and honestly, it didn't feel like much changed. From what I could tell, it only affects the first episode, so I can't really recommend purchasing the itch.io version just for that patch.
It has potential. Updates are slow though, the last one took over a year.
