Motte Island

It's really hard to move around outside (and when it's dark) without flashlight, which I suppose you find later in game. I was bumping into stuff all the time and either could find any way in, or any way out. Other than that, it just feels like any other 2D horror. You can play it but it's nothing special.

Well I think you could do better about next game of you. okay this game overall is good game.

very simple game indeed but has a horror element on it.. yet its simple but it make you wanna to play it again and again. the game play was good and the story-telling was nice if you fancy of horror game kinda like; TRY THIS game

Not much of 2D top-down gave me terrified feeling and fear factor as much as Motte Island. It's indonesian indie horror adventure which presents you Silent Hill like story, unique enemy design, painting art style, and very well soundtrack. I finished this game and feel like old traditional horror game. You have to search everything and figure out the way. It's kinda annoy for someone, but it truly feel intense and fun for me. Even the game it's quite short, but it gives best horror experience so far.

Just browsing my library of games and I still can't forget how I got scammed with this game's key while trying to purchase ELDEN RING key(for reg. lock reasons) . And more than that, because I did nothing about it, the same mfs was able to charge another $300 from my card without any confirmations from my side(got that returned cause of that). Then they tried some other things with it but it's not the point I guess my message is - DOUBLE CHECK THE WEBSITES AND SELLERS if you're getting keys outside of steam for whatever reason. I'm somewhat of a horror game coneseour. This game ranks up there with Darkwoods. The story, although somewhat of a trope with the same twist, I should have expected, caught me dilightfully off guard. The controls are slick especially the stealth aspects of the game, comming from someone who usually hates stealth games, that says a lot. The graphics, especially the lighting is great. I just love how the developer made the flashlight flicker, and they even added in my old trusty friend the radio. This game needs to be ported to other platforms. The sound design is great, while nothing spectacular, the soundtrack, although sort of what you'd expect is done really well, I love the rain effect, now just add in a bit of thunder and you've naild it. If you're a fan of horror, this game is ha hidden gem. What I would like to se more of: First off can we get a map please? Even if it's just a jpg you can print out and use. the feet should be animated. Even more story more dialogue. more environmentale effects such as rain and thunder, maybe animate some wind going trough the foliage. all in all great game, for a rediculously low price.
