Best character design,story is a bit weird but it ain t that bad
Shortly... The game IS GOOD - it is playable, the fighting is on a certain level and so on... I will definitely enjoy playing it with my friends. However... I bought it on a sale with a huge discount, so I didn't spend too much money... Now lemme explain what I DIDN't like... Mainly, it's just a couple of things. First - the plot. It's got some plot holes along the way, but still is kinda okay. Don't want to drop spoilers, so I'll just say that the ending is just a mess (IMHO).. I really enjoyed the final fight though, that final fight is worth going through the campaign... The second, and most important thing that I didn't like - is the cliffhangers. Again, no spoilers, imagine buying a 50-70$ game (I mean it's original price, not those couple of coins I got it for), and in the end of that game's campaign getting a cliffhanger stating something like "that's not entirely a true ending, we still have another campaign, and we want you to buy it for another 50$"... And also showing a bunch of locked characters, like "you can see, but you cannot touch! we just wanna tease you, so you bought another expansion pack", in my opinion, is also a crappy move. I think that's just extremely crappy move. Whoever decided doing so should be extremely ashamed of him/her/them-self. So yeah, if you wanna buy it with a 90-99% discount - go ahead, you might enjoy it. But not for full price.. I'd recommend to never buy MK games for full price... The only one which was worth it - is MK9 (though I just played Komplete edition, so IDK how it was released and if this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ scheme was used there). I have a theory, that you cannot buy MK9 anymore just because no other MK's can compare with it. Both story and gameplay were the best. Thanks and good luck!
