Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 13 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There are so many crazy frustrating elements in this game, but for all its faults, nothing else scratches this specific itch QUITE LIKE Mordheim COTD. The sense of progression you feel when upgrading your units, the TERROR at your best unit going down in a fight, not knowing what will happen...it's unparalleled. I am begging either these devs or someone else to make something similar to this. I love the difficulty, I love the tension, there are just a ton of QOL improvements to be made. Years later I just keep coming back to it.
RNG is absolute BS. I had 85 percent hit rate for 3 turns with 2 attack each turn. Missed all 6 attacks (warband leader no less) guy attacking me never missed and was at almost full health after 4 rounds when he killed me. Set an ambush and never hit, guy with 2 hander never misses and one hits me to death. Want to talk climbing or jumping down? SCREW this. I have played the wargame and love it. This is pure dog doodoo. It would be one thing if they didn't hit every single time, but they pretty much did and wearing armour might as well have been a hospital gown. Now do you wanna talk about the controls? OMG clunkly? With a mouse and kb I hate this game. Maybe with a controller its better, but wow not great. Spacebar for some things, pushing on the scroll wheel for other, E and Q for weird stance buttons. I get you shouldn't have to follow conventional norms but have it be intuitive at least. Wanted to like this game. Love the concept and wargame version, but this game is too frustrating, even though this opinion doesn't matter as its long dead and a 10 year old game. Did I mention that it also crashes ....so yeah 3/10 on my books and not a recommend and this is as a fan of the game.

Just a fantastic port of the tabletop game. Well worth it!
More frustrating then fun.
This is probably one of the best games ever made - but like every digital product associated with Games Workshop is has many bugs that won't ever be fixed. After a while you will learn the bugs and how to cope with them, just know they will forever be a poison in your heart that slowly corrupts you and turns you to chaos. If you don't own this game you will never know true pleasure or true pain. And be forever broken by how close you came to perfection before it crashed and burned before your eyes.
Game is horribly unbalanced. clearly weighted rolls to disadvantage the player.
Disclosure I play with the Mordheim Monster Magic addon. This game is a real gem. I just don't get that good squad based, rpg, tactical challenge from anything else right now. I will admit that there can be a learning curve for your play style as far as choosing what map and how to command your troops and also how you deal with injuries, upgrades and specs. There is a ton of depth and replay ability for this game if you get into it. Yes there is some luck and some frustrating rng at times but to be fair it seems to swing both ways. I have the best luck and most fun playing the humans that are the most flexible for weapons and armor. A heavy dose of ranged with good quality defense and most importantly tactical positioning is key. Play all the intros, try the different races and don't be afraid to die. There is a veteran system to give decent account boosts over time. This game really deserves steam workshop and/or a succesor.
It's hard, but oh so fun. I just want Warhammer games like the board game. Space Marine II and the like don't do anything for me. Rogue Trader is my style of game, but the setting detracts from the game. This does everything just right. I'm going to check out the Warhammer 40k equivalent, Necromunda. This is so good!!
It's fun but the early game is really brutal and the level scailing system somehow make endgame missions easier than said early game. It has still a lot of potential and could use a few updates, reworks and DLCs or even a sequel. It also need a lot more story missions.
