About
Since launch, Moonlighter has received a wealth of updates—from quality-of-life improvements and balance tweaks to major roadmap additions. The current version expands the original experience with new mini-bosses, gear, over 100 new room layouts, Companions, deeper lore, and a New Game+ mode packed with fresh challenges.

During a long-passed archaeological excavation, a set of Gates were discovered. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different realms and dimensions – providing brave and reckless adventurers with treasures beyond measure. Rynoka, a small commercial village, was founded near the excavation site providing refuge and a place for adventurers to sell their hard-earned riches.
Moonlighter is an Action RPG with rogue-lite elements following the everyday routines of Will, an adventurous shopkeeper that dreams of becoming a hero.
While conducting your business in Rynoka village, you can put items on sale, set their price carefully, manage gold reserves, recruit assistants and upgrade the shop. Be careful though – some shady individuals may want to steal your precious wares!
Defeat various enemies and bosses, and revel in challenging and deep combat mechanics. Masterful control of your weapons, critical timing, careful positioning, and an understanding of your enemies and environment are crucial to your survival. How you battle your enemies is up to you.
Get to know your neighbors as you restore the prosperity of this small commercial hamlet. Help establish new businesses and watch them grow in the idyllic community of Rynoka.
Understanding the crafting and enchanting system is essential for your progression. Interact with the villagers to craft new armor and weapons, and enchant existing equipment. This creates a great deal of flexibility and spices up the way equipment is used.
Access strange worlds through otherworldly gates and collect valuable items from exotic civilizations: resources, weapons, armors and peculiar artifacts. Hoarding everything won't be possible - use the unique inventory system wisely to take the most profitable loot with you.
Gates lead to different worlds. Each run is unique and forces you to make smart and calculated decisions. You never know what you will encounter next – that’s why you must be prepared for everything.

Reviews

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As much as i want to enjoy the game because i like the idea of it, it's hard. the shop system is just trial and error, the combat system is super stiff, and the tutorials for different things in the game just doesn't tell you everything
moonlighter is a very fun game on xbox but its not integrated for pc so its more of a hassle to play and now that there is a second game just more advanced i don't have the care to play either of them because it feels like itll just be another dead game in a couple months with no updates and the 3 style of the 2nd game is what i didnt like. i loved moonlighter for the simple calm game it is and it just feels like the next game isnt going in that direction.
I thought Moonlighter was just another pixel-art indie game where you fight some monsters, collect loot, and sell it in a shop. I was wrong. At first, the gameplay seems simple. During the day, you run your shop, sell your loot, and figure out what people are willing to pay for. At night, you enter dangerous dungeons looking for better equipment and more valuable items. And somehow, those two sides fit together perfectly. Every dungeon run feels like a risk. Do you keep exploring for better loot, or turn around before you lose everything? Then you bring your treasures home, put them on display, and suddenly you're not just a hero anymore. You're a shopkeeper trying to make rent. What I love most is the loop. Explore, fight, collect, sell, upgrade, and do it all again. It sounds repetitive, but Moonlighter keeps giving you just enough progress to make you think, "Okay, I'll do one more run." The pixel art is beautiful, the music fits the atmosphere perfectly, and there's something incredibly satisfying about watching your little shop grow from a nearly empty room into a successful business. I've played games with bigger worlds, better graphics, and much longer stories. I don't remember most of them. I'll remember Moonlighter. Some games make you choose between being an adventurer or a merchant. Moonlighter looks at both and says, "Why not be both?" 100% recommended.
Беспонтовый кал, просто блевать тянет.
Just finished the game and... wow. Gameplay is great (mostly). Story... not so much. The story *starts off* great, but the ending is pretty awful. Not to spoil anything, but it basically just boils down to "You just beat the final boss? Congrats! Anyways, the way of life of your entire city is getting dismantled because ♥♥♥♥ you. Cut to end credits." Also, I said the gameplay is "mostly" great, because there are several bugs, and some mechanics that the game doesn't really tell you anything about? 7/10 if you stop playing before the ending, 5/10 if you actually decide to finish it like I did.
무료로 풀렸다길레 관심있는 내용이라서 해봤는데 조작감이 불편하고 중간 퀘스트가 없고 최종 목표 하나만 있어서 어느 순서로 플레이해야할지 모르겠어요
