It gets buggier the more you play it, but this is as close as you're going to get to an official Lego Minecraft and if you're asking yourself if you want to buy it a decade or more after it came out... you're gonna buy it, aren't you?
Game worked once thanks to iRacing installing DirectX -> Will see how often it crashes now while actually playing.. Otherwise,, bottom still applies.. This P-OE$ game destroys itself after 45 min of successful playing, after installing DirectX and getting it to work. I'm not going to make a habit of clearing %localappdata% everytime this Warner BRo's inbred piece of SHIZ stops working.
LEGO Worlds (0/10 – Do NOT Buy this abandonware)

This game is an absolute disaster in 2026.
It refuses to launch properly — black screen followed by instant crash to desktop. No error message, nothing visible, just wasted time. I’ve spent hours troubleshooting this broken mess, trying to get it to work for my son, and it still doesn’t work. Here’s some of the things I tried: ■ Verified game files multiple times ■Manually created the entire config folder and pcconfig.txt with correct resolution, forced windowed mode, borderless, low graphics settings across the board (Shader/Shadow/Texture Quality 0, all post-processing off, etc.) ■ Every launch option imaginable: -dx9, -dx11, -windowed, -safe, -high, combinations of all of them ■ Installed every Visual C++ redistributable known to man (2010, 2012, 2013, latest x86/x64) ■ Ran in Windows 7 and 8 compatibility mode, as administrator, with "Disable fullscreen optimizations" ■ Disabled Steam Overlay and every other overlay ■ Clean reinstall on a different drive ■ Latest NVIDIA drivers + manual profile tweaks via NVIDIA Profile Inspector ■ Tried forcing DX9 by renaming the DX11 exe - when steam launch options did not work. ■ Created minimal pcconfig with VSync off, multithreading tweaks, etc. ■ Checked crash dumps (it dies inside LEGO_Worlds_DX11.EXE during renderer initialization) Nothing works. The game is fundamentally broken on modern Windows 11 + current hardware. Warner Bros./TT Games clearly abandoned this title years ago and it shows. This is not a “tough to run old game” situation — this is negligence. They took people’s money for a product that straight-up doesn’t launch for many users in 2026. Save yourself the frustration and the wasted evening. There are better LEGO games out there that actually work.Do not buy this broken garbage. Stay far away. Amen.
Start tutorial bugged and didn't spawn the pig. Apparently a known bug that was never fixed. Couldn't even get into the game. Every LEGO game I've tried to play is garbage.
Annoying narrator, unskippable tutorials for things that really don't need tutorials, clunky controls, absolutely grating on pretty much all senses and this costs 30? Is this a joke?
i have a personal problem about that ♥♥♥♥ yeah the game can be slightly enjoyable if you have friends to play with, but it becomes boring as ♥♥♥♥ in the first 30 minutes and the game is EVEN worse if you're playing alone lego tried to copy minecraft and just made one of the worst lego games i've ever played please don't try that ♥♥♥♥ ever again
might be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glitchy but childhood peak game :)
this is pretty garbage dunno why you would buy this nowadays
the dream lego game i always dreamt of it is the best (i have 500+ hours on switch )
