Moonlight Pulse

Underrated. Good game, good music.

It's a very interesting take on the Metroidvania genre, but the biggest draw is the party member swapping, being able to switch between 2-4 movesets on the fly, each with distinct personalities and combat styles is very interesting. The writing is a little flat, but has heart. You won't regret reading through any of the cutscenes the game throws your way. All-in-all, a good little game with big ideas and good execution.

Looks great, sounds great, and plays great; and crucially, only takes about 5 hours to 100%. I loved it so much I played through it a second time to get the rest of the achievements, including the speedrun, which I never do. The setting is really cool and I'd love to see a sequel. I kinda doubt we'll get one, though, considering I've never seen anyone talk about it. Why have people slept on this game??

This one is a pretty cool adventure. Unfortunate lack of directional information and map marking but overall, this is a good metroidvania. It has some difficulty when it comes to switching characters while exploring and fighting; I'm just not good at that but it's not the hardest game so it should be good fun for anyone who likes this type of adventure.

A hidden gem of a metroidvania, however, it's rather on the quick and easy side. I think I got genuinely stuck and had to start over twice? But I really enjoyed this game, and I think more people should check this game out! Especially if metroidvanias are your thing.
