A very fun game with a good story and a good gameplay. The main critiques I'd have is that swapping characters can feel a bit janky and that some movement upgrades feel very arbitrary in terms of how/when you get them, but as a whole the game was a great experience, and I can recommed to anyone looking for smaller metroidvanias.

Pretty good story, good progression, kind of easy to get lost. Combat is good. I 100%'d the game in my 5 hours. Very fun, would buy again, devs did great work

Game is good, but they fumbled the tone completly at the end, you cant just do lighthearted adventure like that then just decide to shift it completly unannounced for cheap shock value literally at the end of the game, also mismanaged the story of the initial character

just 100% this last night, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is an absolute fav! bringing so many new (at least to me!) and unique mechanics to the metroidvania genre. everything felt so fluid and well executed too~ love the graphics, love the characters, love the dialog, music was a dang bop, perfect length, perfect difficulty, fun bosses, absolutely intense final boss, I could go on <3 10/10, excited to see what seafloor games does next :)

Really unique metroidvania with heart!

I love the creative directions this game goes into, in terms of setting, characters and progression. Definitely an upgrade from this developer's previous game (Vision Soft Reset) in terms of gameplay smoothness. The quick-swapping is so smooth that I sometimes wonder if I'm sequence breaking (which is a positive feeling for a metroidvania!) I love all of the characters, they're all precious in different ways. I love the stark contrast between them and the environment and enemies that are encountered- creates a simple, but effective punch to the gut. Game is short, but did leave me very satisfied when I beat it. It is fun to just move around, so I may play it again in the future.
