About
Experience life as a vampire in a magical town full of werewolves, witches, mermaids, and more! In this heartwarming, supernatural life-sim, you will raise mystical crops, learn spell-casting and potion-making, and befriend – or even romance – the locals. And at the same time, show your skeptical father that a life of compassion is possible – even for the undead.
Settle down in your family’s abandoned homestead and make it your own. Build your farm with magic crops and livestock, customize your cottage with gothic style, and make friends with other creatures of the night. Embrace immortality and unlock ancient abilities, all in the name of a more bountiful harvest. Unravel the mysteries of the seven families that inhabit Moonlight Peaks and bring a bit of light back to this spooky settlement. Just remember to be back in your coffin before the sun comes up!

Customize your perfect vampire persona and build relationships with the people of Moonlight Peaks to learn more about the town’s history. Uncover the secrets of the seven families who dwell there – and maybe even find your “tomb” love from any of the two dozen romanceable characters in the process.

Design your cozy gothic homestead, turning a forgotten farm into the ideal sanctuary. Obtain new tools and develop your property to grow even more enchanted crops and raise magical livestock.

Embrace your supernatural lineage! Shapeshift into other forms to explore all the town has to offer, and study witchcraft to learn spells that will help you on the farm or when gathering resources.

Beyond the farm, you’ll be able to enjoy fishing, foraging, and potion-crafting, along with activities like embroidering, flower arranging, and more. You can even collect cards for the town’s favorite game, Nokturna, to play against other residents.

I've looked forward to this game since it was announced years ago, enjoyed the demo. So far the game is great, the story is cute, everything is fleshed out mostly really well. I appreciate the game mechanics how smooth they are and how fast the devs are getting updates out. One thing I think would be nice to have for farm decorating would be to have free rotation on items instead of being locked to 90 degrees, like the rest of the world, it would make decorating a lot more enjoyable.
Highly addictive fun game
Tout ce que j'aime dans un jeu cozy
Very cute and cosy lil supernatural game that I've indulged myself into for the day! I adore all the characters and how their all teeming with different personalities and quirks!! highly recommended for those that like the stardew valley kind of games that meet all things supernatural and spooky! :D #LetsSoberUpOrlock
Just yes. Trust me.
I wasn't going to write a review for this game, but I've noticed a few negative reviews, some of which are valid, but a bunch of which are unfair (I notice a lot of MAKE THIS GAME EASIER criticism, which the developers should 100% ignore, some people want their games to spoonfeed them absolutely everything). I don't play a lot of cosy games. I love Stardew Valley but have rarely found another that scratched the itch the same way, the exception being Graveyard Keeper. But so far, I've really enjoyed this game. It appealed to me because I liked the idea of living in a supernatural town, so I gave it a chance. And I've had a good time. I'm not a huge fan of that cutesy chibi art style, but I like the portraits (not the anime ones), so I can at least look at those while I'm talking to people. I know that cosy tends to be cutesy, and people like that, so I'm not holding that against the game. It needs the wide appeal. The farming/quests/romances etc., are all simple, if you've played a bunch of cosy games, you've seen most of these mechanics before. The wheel isn't being reinvented here, but there are some nice touches here and there. And I do really enjoy the characters. I like that there are messy characters, dramatic characters, characters who are childish. An issue I've had with multiple cosy games I've tried is ridiculously nice characters with zero flaws - that's not for me. I can embrace the silliness of these personalities. Also - points for having Death as a romance option and he is some kind of creepy thing in a hood, not secretly a cute boy underneath. +10 points for that. I have encountered bugs - the loading screens were an issue, and I had an issue with an event where the crowning ceremony didn't trigger. However, as of posting this review, the devs have worked on these problems. And I do have some personal issues with the game - I want my spouse to sleep in a coffin/bed with me, I wish the final marriage cutscene was something bigger and more grand, not just another short cute cutscene (based on Orlock, I can't say for other candidates). But overall, this is a solid cosy game. I'm not a long way into the game, and I still have so much to do, and I'm reliably told that there is a ton of stuff I haven't even encountered yet. So length is great. I will say if you're unsure, it's probably wise to wait until the game is on sale. But at the end of the day, I think what will sell you or not sell you on this game is the setting and the characters. If you like the idea of a spooky-in-a-cute-way town with a bunch of vampires, werewolves and witches who are drama queens, then I think you'll like this. It's also clear that the devs are continuing to work out the kinks, and that's great. Games like Stardew Valley and Terraria were getting updates to polish them for years after their release, and still to this day, so that bodes well.
Moonlight Peaks is the first ever cozy farm simulator I ever played so I can't compare it to other games but I can definitely say that it feels different! The aesthetic and cute-dark tone fits so well together! I'm amazed by how good this game looks. The 3D characters look adorable and the 2D drawings remind me of Arcane's art style. Little icons, environment and UI is beatiful too. The gameplay is simple and relaxing. I love just mining and giving gifts. I haven't played long enough to really get into the farming side of this game though. The crops take a while to grow in my opinion but I know you can speed things up by getting animals for fertilizer. I just got my wand fixed so I can't wait to try some spells too! I do kinda feel overwhelmed though. I don't really know if I should be focusing on my farm or on upgrading my gear. The Hellkitten form helps in moving around which I was dragging prior to getting it. The map is big so getting it early on is neat. The NPC's quests are fun but they don't require a lot of work early on. it's mostly talking and going places which I do like. The time we get to work feels a little short but I understand since we can only save by sleeping. I kinda wish they were longer and there was an option to save from the menu. The biggest problem I have with this game is the loading between different areas. It takes so long to load😭(not just cutscenes) I don't know if it's a me problem but even in the demo I had those issues. Maybe because the area that has to load in is too big and the amount of NPC's make my computer slow down? I wish there was an option to change the graphics settings or something. Other things I noticed is just minor bugs e.g. the candles after meeting
Death
change textures to pitch black, in one cutscene my character was just bugging out and didn't want to go into place but after clicking the window's button it worked. It feels like I have to search up some things about this game to help me progress easier but I only searched for gifting guides and tips on getting money. Overall it's a very cozy and pretty game! it is on the more expensive side but it's a full release so I get it. I would love for the loading issue to solve because it makes me annoyed. Other than that I'm looking forward to playing it a bit more!
This is a really great game. If you love farming and being able to interact with NPCs you will simply love this game.
