Moonlight In Garland

Definitely the best game I have played. The writing is amazing, pacing is perfect, and it is very reminiscent of the flash games from the early 2000s. It is giving main protagonist in the city energy, and I cannot wait to play it more! Thank you for making this game! Also! Bonus: No bugs and quick loading screens :) You did a great job!

Started playing this game a couple of days ago and I'm hooked! The design, exploration and detail of this game is so special. It's been really fun exploring this amazing little world! I put in a bug report and got a personal response back which was so sweet <3 Even at this early access stage of the game, it's super fun to experience and can't wait to see what's next for this beautiful gem!

I've enjoyed playing this since the day the demo was released. I really like how relaxed it is, meaning you can go at your own pace and notice board quest are completely optional. I can't wait to see what is next.

Oh I'm in love with this game! :3 it's just right for me! it's like stardew valley meets devil wears prada hehe and all the little updates that the creator has been adding is just oh so beautiful, i cant wait for more!

It's an adorable and well thought out labor of love. Still quite a few glitches however there are ways to ensure your gameplay is pleasurable. My only complaint is that the energy bar goes down way too quickly with walking (especially with the map size!). Also, inventory management is a bit frustrating. Looking forward to future updates ~

Very good cosy game! It is definitely one of my favourite games even considering it is in early access. Any bugs are easy to report and have always been sorted with each update. The game itself is fun, relaxing and the characters are super charming. There are a lot of things to do and explore. I definitely recommend this game!!

Moonlight in Garland is a refreshing take of the cozy game genre that I have really found myself enjoying, especially lately. The dev is very active and always putting updates out, fixing bugs and adding more content regularly. I purchased the game in a much newer state and it has already improved a ton! I still have lots more to explore with the current content and I know there will be more coming which is super exciting. It's also very easy to report bugs on the discord, and the dev will fix save files and is otherwise very helpful. Looking forward to even more fun in the future! It is still in early access and there is still some work to do and some bugs to fix, but it is very much worth the price in my opinion.

As another reviewer has said, I wish there was a neutral option for recommending/not recommending. This game is full of potential, but also buggy. Yes, I know it's in EA still, and the developer works hard on the bugs and making this work. I first bought this a year ago, and played a few times (didn't get far because of how it was functioning then), and just picked this up again yesterday. While some functions are much better than a year ago, there are new ones to go along with it. I swear the mental energy is a lot harder to keep up than before. I wish there was a function to turn that off, to be honest. As I said, this game is full of potential. I love the idea of starting over in a big city, the opposite of the life-sims I tend to play where you move away from the big city to start over. The art style is cute and there is plenty for you to do... if you have enough physical and mental energy to do so. I will keep periodically checking in on this game, and I hear leaving early access is on the current roadmap. I am looking forward to seeing the complete game.
