ive almost had to alt-f4 multiple times within just 20 mins of play cause the controls are so awful on PC. no auto saving as i can tell either. game crashed and i had to start over.

This game is a slow paced game, perfect when one wants to contemplate and go slowly. But you have some tasks to do in couple of days (in the gameworld). It is about fishing, cooking and taking care of a small coastline village in Canada, all that by discovering information about a drama.

very sad to report that i tried to play this without a controller and it is genuinely impossible. i'm not sure how much better the controls would be with a controller, but if you only have access to a keyboard, i would not recommend this game

Every time I go into settings/options menu, or leave it, the screen mode changes to windowed. I can ALT+Enter every time, but that gets boring really soon...

Truly adore this game. The gameplay is peaceful and rewarding, and the story compelling, with some genuinely gut-wrenching dialogue. I know there are some past reviews where people have had big issues with bugs, I did experience some bugs but they were very minor, nothing that hindered my gameplay. I really love the game's art style and thought that the fish species were very creative. The camera feature is so fun too! My favourite part of the game is Lena Raine's incredible soundtrack, which I am absolutely obsessed with, it adds a whole further layer of emotional impact throughout the game. Spoilers, I think some of the most memorable moments for me were the 'Thunder from the Deep' sequence in which the tense score works so well with the thunderclaps from the lightning strikes, and the 'Toward Ivory Dawn' track makes the exploration of the Chapter 5 area so mesmerising. Totally recommend this game!!

I should start this by saying I got this for 90% off ($2.49) so that may influence my opinion quite a bit! I would say it's a net (lol) positive game for me overall. It's funny and charming and I think it's really unique with the story and quests. There are, however, quite a few bugs and oversights as others have pointed out. I haven't run into anything game-breaking at all yet, nothing I can't get myself out of. I think probably the most inconvenient bug and/or oversight is that your own pins on the map don't show up when it's small in the corner, they only appear when you have your map fully open. The controls take some getting used to, they're not really intuitive if you've played a lot of PC games. That being said, once you start advancing the plot, get some upgrades, and start getting a feel for the controls, it's pretty enjoyable! It definitely was a tad frustrating at first but not enough to dissuade me (obviously). TLDR: Worth it if you get it on sale and are willing to spend some time getting used to it. :)
