About
In Monsters are Coming! gather what resources you can to defend an ever-moving city. Are you ready to take on a never-ending army of darkness in a tower-survivor, action-rogue-lite on wheels?
- Fortify: The city must endure! Choose from a selection of town halls, place towers and create your own builds to maximise destruction. Equip defensive structures to repel monsters from the gates and keep the city moving forward, else the darkness will consume you!
- Forage: Gather wood, stone and gold as a persistent, multi-tasking hero. You must constantly balance risk vs reward while fighting back endless armies of monsters. Stray from the beaten path to find richer rewards or keep heading due south towards the safety of shelter.
- Fight: Beat Bad-Ass bosses, improve your abilities, overcome environmental obstacles and take charge of special weaponry to continually adapt your strategies. Or see your city turned to ash!
You’re the last hope for humanity, but it’s a long road to the Ark.
- Build your city your way. Reach shelter and buy new districts from the city shop. Then strategically choose where to place them based on the needs of each run.
- Defend yourself. Choose from a variety of unique Town Halls, then add archery outposts, necromancer towers, and even fire-breathing dragons to protect it from the dangers beyond the walls.
- Unlock new possibilities: Find a build that works for you, keep upgrading and try to stay alive against increasingly powerful monsters the closer you get to the Ark!
- Keep the city stocked: Gather wood to keep the engines burning and increase tower efficiency, chisel stone to help repair and rebuild, and mine gold to expand your moving fortress of destruction.
- Never stop moving: Collect compasses at the end of each run and pay your attempts forward, making it easier for future cities to find their way to the Ark!
- Explore for bonuses: Look for hidden secrets in shelters and tackle side hordes to find richer, rarer rewards. Just make sure you get back to your city in time!
- Progress to Prevail: Level up, increase your potential through vast player progression, and protect the city at all costs, even at the hero’s expense!
- The City Still Stands: Even if the Hero falls, it’s not game over! A run only ends once the city is destroyed, so quickly jump back into the fight before all hope is lost.
- Bad Ass Bosses: Getting to the Ark won’t be easy and there may be some larger monsters waiting for you at the periphery…

Muito divertido!
需要继续优化更新 仆从数量多的时候容易卡在城堡内 不出去~ 肉鸽成熟大后期 画面爆炸 帧数炸裂下降!我这配置后端都卡 导致无法游玩
It's pretty fun, definitely a lot of Vampire Survivors inspiration. I wasn't necessarily racing back to start more and more runs though. Generally with really really good roguelites, the more you play, learn, and unlock... the more you enjoy them and feel powerful from what you've accomplished. I didn't necessarily enjoy it the more I played, so much as I just felt like I was playing more. I did feel stronger, but it didn't necessarily feel like it was getting better to play, it just felt like... more. If that makes any sense. It's got a lot of cool things going for it, but I don't expect myself coming back to it too much after I put it down. The price is right though, the developers seem cool and have made a good fairly priced product that a lot of people will probably like, even if that doesn't mean it's going to give them hundreds of hours of enjoyment like some greats in the genre.
It feels like someone who started making a Survivors-like and then had the great idea of splicing Tower Defense concepts, but moving instead of staying still. Heroes, Weapons, Townhalls, Towers, and Buildings have a nice variety of interplay with each other. Each Townhall formulates a method to the madness. It is overall a pleasantly fun little experience. *Note: I'm giving the music another shot. Maybe I was just not in the mood before, but there's something about it that's weird. *Update: Maybe for other people the music is fine, but perhaps I just don't like it. However, I have to say it: The audio experience leaves much to be desired. It's been awhile where I've had to turn off the music in a game because here ... it's just not good. Something about it seems off as if it doesn't belong in this game and the repetition wears on you since runs can take quite a hefty time investment. The audio levels for the sound effects have a strange variance where some things are loud (ice shards, alchemy bombs) while other things are quiet (harvesting resources). It feels like the priorities are wonky on what you're supposed to hear. While for most people this is probably not that big of an issue (most reviews don't seem to mention the audio) for a game where you invest a lot of time per run, it really matters how well your audio experience may be comfortable, impactful, and meaningful. Right now, I feel like I'd rather play on mute. Other than that, it's the usual "game has issues" arrangement of things such as the occasional crash, soft lock, or in my case, when the attack speed of your weapons gets too high they just stop activating as if triggers are being lost, but the enemies and player can still move meaning you can lose an endless run to this unusual issue. Issues aside, it's still fun to play. Just maybe turn on your favorite music instead.
Hahaha Splat.
Прикольно! =)
This Game made me feel sorry i sold my SteamDeck. I REALLY regret it now. If they ever release it on Playstation. ill transform into a couch potato.
Задумка оч классная, кому понравится - может затянуть на очень много времени, но как по мне раны слишком долгие и одинаковые. Люблю играть через призванных существ и тут не всегда понятно как они работают и что делают.
This is a great game: really fun, great aesthetic, well balanced and well-designed. I enjoy games like Vampire Survivors and Brotato, but this adds in the addition of a slowly moving city which you must defend and gather resources for. This really adds something new and interesting to the "bullet heaven" formula and makes movement much more interesting and presents you with a bunch of genuinely engaging choices. Highly recommended for anyone who likes games like Ball X Pit, Vampire Survivors, Brotato or other bullet-heaven roguelikes but wants something a bit more strategically interesting.
