Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Monster Train 1 was great, Monster Train 2 doesn't overthink the room, get it, you'll love it. I prefer to drink while I play, but do what you will.

It's good. Simple to pickup and stop then return to later. One of those easy to play but hard to master type gmaes.

What can I say? This is probably the most polished and thought out game I've ever played. For example, I dislike the story and don't want to be bothered with it. No problem- just skip everything. You don't want to wait for animations? No problem - speed them up. You want to tinker around? No problem - change whatever you want in custom runs. And now Monster Train 2 even has mods. The only two flaws, if I can even call them flaws, are: There isn't some kind of preset mode where you can define the order of your units+upgrades so you can autoplay it. The game can't run on even weaker hardware. Really, that's it, and I actually had to think about those. If you're interested in roguelite deckbuilders, don't look any further. Buy this game as soon as possible.

One of the premier roguelike deck-builders. Building upon the solid base that was the original Monster Train 2, this is clearly a development of love with mechanics expanded, improved and the content deepened. The deployment phase is a nice way to set up each round, rooms and equipment add additional tactical threads, with the latter a more balanceable version of the fusions from MT1 DLC so they are not lacking. Quality of life improvements are great with accesible undo and even restart battle options available which make the game a lot more fun to experiment and remove frustration from a misclick or an end turn too hastily clicked. The original clans have been thoughtfully reworked to fit, and the new clans all provide interesting and different styles, with the railforged being particularly pleasing. Souls mode I am less sold on, but that's as much a personal preference of wanting to just dive in, where that feels a mode that rewards thinking and planning ahead (like adding mutators) whereas I prefer to fly by the seat of my pants on instinct. Overall just fabulous. I look forward to hopefully more DLC in the future to see where they take it.
