The unbridled force of nature runs wild and relentless, with environments transforming drastically from one moment to the next. This is a story of monsters and humans and their struggles to live in harmony in a world of duality.

I have a intel core ultra i5 200 super power up something and a rx9070xt. game runs with frame gen at 1440p with maxed settings, i get around 150-190fps. I don't notice a difference with frame gen off or on. Its stable for me on Linux (Ubuntu). Never had a crash in my short time. My issue are with the game itself, World was already an over simplification to the game and that was pushing it for me. Somehow the story is even more cringe (not a huge deal) but the game play is god awful. there is no hunt in this, its too dumped down to the point I can't enjoy it. I crave a MHGU or MH4U but ported to PC. I want a grind, I want to be carted, I want to struggle to craft armor. not get a full set after 2 hunts. Also the controls, both controller and M/KB are bad. I really want to disable the right joystick thing when selecting items, call me a boomer but I don't want the game to change to a point its not like old gen at all. I really really hope, g rank will save this game but I am doubtful. I HATE the mounts as well, as well as the claw. I want pickaxes that break, and innovatory that actually needs managing. I don't want auto crafting, and I want meals that sometimes cause de-buffs. ect ect... thanks for listening to my ted talk
Unplayable on my rig constant crashes before I can start a new game.
后期数据极不合理,制作者在后期给怪物加了极高的数值与压起身技巧,喜欢我处理对了没奖励,处理不对下一把吗
To clarify right away, this game is unplayable without some serious hardware so I am not recommending it to anyone and everyone. If you have the hardware and like Monster Hunter, then go for it. I beat this game's main story in like 40 hours? One of the shortest campaigns I've ever played in a mainline MH game so if that's a selling point for you then sorry. It's an okay story; plenty of fun moments and characters but nothing special (if you're looking for ground-breaking storytelling then you're in the wrong series). The quality of life improvements are possibly my favorite part, the burrs and jagged edges of the hand held era are sanded smooth. Multiplayer is just as fun as it always has been. Some of the new monsters are delightful, some are just a slog and I found myself getting bored with the final boss creature mid-fight and just wishing it would die already so I can go back onto the plains to fight the thunderbird.
I preordered this game and beat it in around 38 hours I didn't enjoy my time my friend wanted to play with me later and we didn't enjoy our time. I was able to tolerate the performance issues they were bad sure but for me it wasn't game breaking and then they got worse withe every update and they got to be game breaking I heard it's fine now but that doesn't matter to me because I don't want to play it. I don't want to play the game not because of performance issues I don't want to play the game because most of the new monsters aren't challenging enough to be fun, "just play the harder varants or quests" yes those are harder because all they do is more damage but the games difficulty stems from the new wound system works its so easy to exploit that you can stun lock just about everything. The only new monsters I like are the cephalopoids and Jin Dahaad due to their unique ways of being fought and the wound system doesn't completely trivialize them, the guardian monsters also suck two are new monsters and the rest are returning rathalos is a given but I'm tired of anjanath I don't care it's fulgur anjanath I'm tired of the base monster we've had him for 3 games in a row and ebony odogaron is fine but choosing two monsters from iceborn makes the game less interesting Armor spheres that you use to upgrade your armor are extremely important but the two ways of farming them (from when I played it might be different now) are a specific fulgur anjanath quest and tempered monsters which you won't be able to fight because your armor isn't helping and you die in 1-3 hits which again ties into difficulty. tempered monsters are just stat inflation they have more health do more damage and attack faster and the game doesn't have an enjoyable way to increase your own stats unlike other monster Hunter games to compensate for inflation. The story is bad too but I expected to not care at the beginning I know Capcom can make a good story especially when megaman 1 has a better story Tldr the game isn't fun it's either too easy or insanely hard monsters are uninteresting the story is bad and it had problems at launch I won't play this game again and I don't think I'm going to get a new monster Hunter game ever this isn't hyperbole Capcom needs to release a full game that doesn't break on PC at launch that is fun The only way I will play this game again is if someone gives me the dlc and I'm not sure I want that
this game feels like absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to play and makes me want to blow my ♥♥♥♥ clean off 99% of the time but i cant stop playing
好游戏,我选择玩世界
Decent The performance is garbage and the game is way too easy
STILL BUGGED GRAPHIC OMG
Monster Hunter Wilds is a fantastic action game, but it's one of the least satisfying Monster Hunter games I've played. Wilds absolutely nails the presentation. The environments are beautiful and the monster animations are the best they've ever been including a great roster with returning community favourites and awesome new additions. The game is packed with little details that make hunting feel alive. The problem is that almost every system surrounding the combat pushes the game toward being faster and easier. Wounds let you deal massive bursts of damage for very little effort, monsters spend huge amounts of time toppled over, Seikrets remove much of the commitment from actions like healing and sharpening, and hunts are often over just as they feel like they're getting started. I don't want a hunt to end in ten minutes. I want a struggle that lasts for a decent amount of time and leaves me feeling like I genuinely overcame something. My biggest criticism isn't that Wilds changed Monster Hunter—it's how it changed it. Older games asked you to commit to your decisions. If you wanted to sharpen you had to find an opening. If you drank a potion you stood still and would get rocked if you didn't do it at an appropriate time. If you got hit you had to deal with the consequences. That slower pace made every success feel earned. Wilds smooths away so much of that friction that the highs don't feel quite as high anymore. It's far too easy of a game for people who have played an entry in the series before. Monsters feel like they struggle to fight back and the player has an answer for every situation. This problem is exacerbated in multiplayer where it feels less like a hunt and more like beating on a crippled puppy for 5 minutes until the quest complete message shows up. The only fights that consistently run up to the 20+ minute mark and pose an actual threat in multiplayer are endgame encounters like omega and gogmazios and even then they still go down really quickly. Performance is also a big sore spot with the game, I am able to run the game at mostly maxed out settings and no upscaling with a semi consistent 60fps but in places like the jungle in Plenty season certain areas can cause that to go down into the low 50s. It's clear the game wants you to use upscaling which is an industry direction i don't really agree with as i prefer games at native resolutions and no fake frames with framegen. I don't agree with the steam page listing a 2060 with a Ryzen 5 3600 as "recommended" you are certainly gonna want beefier hardware than that. That's not to say Wilds is bad. Far from it. It's polished, incredibly fluid to control, and probably one of the easiest Monster Hunter games to recommend to a newcomer. Layered armour and weapons being here is always awesome allowing you to make the hunter of your dreams and the new fluffy palico option is so cute. Add on their adorable new voices and i became obsessed with my little partner and wanted to support him just as much as he supported me. I just think it lost a little of what made the series special to me. I don't want Monster Hunter to be faster. I want it to make me think, commit, and struggle. Overall: 7/10. A great action game, but not the direction I personally want Monster Hunter to continue in.
