Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 21.86/day in the week to Sep 8 → 32.29/day in the week after.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best JP #49, worst KR #100 · 4 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 26.63/day in the week to Jul 21 → 31.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Probably one of the best games that has been gifted to me. As my first entry into the Monster Hunter series, I can confidently say I am hooked. While I did need a little bit of help from friends and guides to really solidify my choice of weapon and playstyle, I feel like Rise really nails the feeling of combat. And as an Insect Glaive main, the game's mobility is on point. Definitely a much more fast paced, arcade-style game compared to the previous titles, from what I've heard from my peers. And now as I move into Wilds, I will admit I am a bit spoiled from Wirebugs and Switch Skills. However! I find that as I move onto the next MH installment, I am applying everything I've learned in Rise well. This game allowed me to practice patience and understanding with all the different monsters and their behaviors. The reactive fights are something I can truly appreciate and it feels rewarding when everything just clicks into place. Fights become dances, and the music is Rise only reverberates that sentiment! Sometimes the characters/NPCs feel a bit campy, but it adds charm. Especially since I couldn't play with my friends all the time, the mechanic of having NPC Followers really did help in my grind in the late to endgame. It also helped me get invested in who the NPCs are and their stories/personalities, as well as the surrounding world. Additionally though, I would also argue that Sunbreak is a necessity. It adds so much more content to base game Rise, so it may be best to purchase both while on sale. But overall, Rise and the world it presents is some of the most fun I've had in gaming in a long time. And it feels good to finally partake in a game series I've only seen in passing since I was a kid.
This is my personal recommendation for people interested in Monster Hunter that want one of the newer experiences. It's fun, flashy, and a great entry point. Don't worry about it not being the first or latest in the series, every Monster Hunter is an experience unto itself. With the Sunbreak expansion, it also has a ton of content that has kept my interest for a long while.
Good Game!
El martillo hace bonk
Like most Monster Hunter games, there is a LOT to learn when you first start. Fortunately, the online community is fantastic and there are a variety of YouTube channels covering everything you need to know. If you want to smash up big monsters while gathering materials, crafting, and exploring a surprisingly deep game, then give this one a try
