Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 21.86/day in the week to Sep 8 → 32.29/day in the week after.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

好玩,流畅,优化好,谁能不爱呢
combat is what you expect but god too much frustrating things that have nothing to do with the game. horrible default controls. horrible ui ane menus. game is so loud on startup. the hud is a mess. i was expecting this to be like wilds and world. half the quests require you to play alone. so sorry if you had a friend you wnated to play with. youll have to tell them to syd under the desk while they wait on you to kill the 30 minute bear fight. refunding this before i hit 2 hours god forbid. why cant we just have normal multiplayer
Fantastic spin to Monster Hunter's combat that goes all out in the arcade-style gameplay. It personally isn't what makes a 'Monster Hunter' for me, but I will always appreciate what they did here and don't try to act like it's anything else. If you're thinking of starting with Rise, great choice! However I'll always recommend a slower game as a first to get a more accurate idea of what Monster Hunter really is. Starting with Rise might make the other titles feel a bit slower. But it's an incredible 2nd Monster Hunter.
gud game
very fun but the tutorials at the start where a barrier
This is definitely the worst Monster Hunter game I have ever played. Everything feels sluggish and inferior compared to World — the graphics, the atmosphere, and to top it all off, the core gameplay. At the start of every hunt, you’re forced to gather bugs just to max out your health bar. The wirebugs feel like a terrible mechanic, yet so many fights force you to rely on them. To make matters worse, iconic skills from Iceborne (like the Helm Splitter) are arbitrarily locked behind wirebug cool-downs. While a few monster designs are genuinely innovative, others are just frustrating to fight. Map exploration is also bogged down by constant wirebug usage. Having a mount is a nice touch, but it feels useless the moment you hit a wall, forcing you to dismount, use a wirebug, and manually climb. Even simple item actions on the radial menu have an awkward input delay. Sure, there are a few quality-of-life upgrades over World, but they're overshadowed by clunky mechanics and tedious map layouts. It’s still Monster Hunter at its core, and if no other titles existed, I’d probably recommend it. But they do exist — and compared to the rest, this one falls short.
