Good, basic game. Not to hard. Has mini-games that are fun too.
this game didn't click for me, until I realized that it *is* in fact a zachtronics puzzle game, just with a different language, and switched my expectations accordingly. each level is carefully designed to give you a puzzle, and the tools to solve it. how are you going to hold out with almost nothing until reinforcements arrive? how are you going to blitz through this recon mission before *their* reinforcements arrive? how can I get rid of their artillery so my infantry can survive long enough to ambush their armor? there's a bit of wiggle room to fit your own style, but you *will* need to adapt to each scenario. you need to use all the tools the game gives you, not just what worked last time. the only reason these levels don't have a score tracker like classic zachtronics puzzles do is because maximizing score would involve rng manipulation. the rng is here to shift your focus away from micromanagement, and into strategies that mitigate bad luck. the enemy ai does the same, and you *should* be leveraging that behavior for area denial, baiting, etc. it's a really well designed game, and I wish more people could appreciate it. I don't know if I'm just the perfect target audience for this, or if a lot of people expected the usual zachtronics game language and felt too disoriented by the shift.

I thought it was ok. I felt like it dragged on a little bit, like for example some of the levels/cutscenes just felt like filler at times. But the ending was good, I'm glad they brought it to a nice conclusion and I liked the final level. I also liked the voice acting. Some times a level could be frustrating though. Like the difference between winning and losing was whether a unit would get past the armour and finish off a tank before it could kill me just to have the unit miss altogether... Or I would have units covering each other in a massive defence but the AI would run away and make attacking the object impossible. Not all the time though, just when I had to attack. When the ai was on the offensive it worked out better for me.
Best solitaire i've ever played

As the inspo behind firelock 198x, its pretty good. Simply put if the damage WASNT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RANDOM and D company missions weren't ♥♥♥♥ AND BALL TORTURE, it would be very fun. its still pretty fun. Its really like alot like Advance wars but with no quirky non-airport knowing kids, and cooler units, and missions that vary from cool to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass
Mobius Front '83 shares some similarity with Advance Wars, Warside and Tiny Metal in that it is also a infantry and vehicle based strategy game. While it lacks some of the charm of the commanders that Advance Wars Dual Strike or Wargroove has and some of the challenge of trying to get a S Rank ala Advance Wars or Fire Emblem it is a solid game. It would be good if the missions were ranked so you could score higher for achieving mission objectives with fewer casualties. Zachtronics has put some care and attention into this game with readable manuals, little mini-games. The other
