Mitch: Berry Challenge

I don't know who paid these people to make this reviews but this game is simply not what they're saying. I will tell you the easiest videogame to make in the universe in undoubtedly a platformer. This game has somehow found a way to make it not only difficult to platform throughout the game, but overly challenging and unrewarding. For some background on this game, it is roughly 2 years old and was ported recently from the sinking ship console known as the Ouya to PC and imo the port was not good. There is something horrible about the movement in this game that holds it back from being fun in any way. Every platformer has jumping, it's essential, but in this game jumping will not only become a chore, but a living nightmare. Jumping in this game is a 4 course meal having you hit the jump button, the Iguana will begin a slow animation with an almost impossible to move jump without already having momentum, he then does an unnecessary backflip which takes forever to complete making every jump a literal pain to do. Moving is also painful because after every jump you stop moving, and unlike most games where there is a constant movement speed or a run/walk. you have a slow getup every time you wanna move forward which slowly converts into a sprint over time, but you're playing a platformer..... So you are constantly jumping which means you are ALWAYS in the super slow walk and constantly waiting on it to move. Overall I was under a different impression when I purchased this game so I will unfortunately be refunding it, as it did little but annoy me, and provide clunky controls that made me feel like I was working more than having fun.

Mitch: Berry Challenge is a beautifully drawn, retro styled game where you play as a little iguana on a mission to hunt down your tribe's relic. It has a simplistic plot and brings back the memories of the ol' platformers where you collect scattered treasures and fight small enemies who try to block your path. Features beautiful sceneries, dynamic 3D-like background lighting, crisp and vibrant colouring, and the ol' arcade feel. The game is warm-hearted, adorable, and deffinately worth a play and popularity!

It's a game that is "okay". Graphics could have a little bit more variety. You see mostly green, brown and white (in the snow levels). Sometimes the bloom effect of the sun makes you nearly blind. Sounds and music are also okay. Gameplay is also enjoyable in the first half of the game, after that, it brings you near the edge of frustration every new level again and again. Biggest complaint most players seem to have is the control. Even if the iguana does a somersault on every jump, he feels pretty stiff. Almost like you steer a tree trunk on wheels. But i think you can get used to it. Overall, it's a decent game. Not a gem, but still quite entertaining. Guess you will either like it or hate it.

The price point is about right for this kind of game. Pretty basic platformer that's pretty good. This game doesn't deserve a negative but it doesn't deserve the best review. The hit detection does take some time to get used to, and the moving around can seem kind of slow compared to other platform games. There is around 30 or so levels and each level takes a couple to a few minutes to complete. The graphics in this game is beautiful and the music goes perfect with their design.

tem um jeitão meio leito e diferente. Porém o jogo é bem jogável, simples porém funcionável para o gênero e iniciantes no "plataforma". Caçamos todas moedas e passamos de nível, e não tem muita dificuldade entre os saltos. Comprei nesta sale por R$2,51 pelas cartinhas e achei uma opção barata e diferente.

Un juego tranquilo y simple de plataforma donde tenemos dos acciones, saltar y golpear, el objetivo es recolectar todo y completar el nivel, ademas de intentar hacerlo de forma rapida, los primeros niveles no se requiere habilidad para completarlos pero a medida que avanzas necesitaras ser presiso en los saltos y golpes, aun que no son un gran reto pasar los niveles dificiles, si tienen su dificultad, No tiene una musica muy variable pero a mi por lo menos se me pego la tonadita <3 Recomendado para Casuales plataformeros
