I really wanted to like it but it executes on most of the elements so badly. The gameplay has a good idea behind it, but it tends to feel very clunky and inconsistent. The writing is overall very bad and cheesy. I kinda wanted there to be more running and less fighting, since the fighting is definitely not a strong suite. Guns feel kind of awful but are also super powerful, and the enemy AI sometimes randomly completely obliterates you (not to mention that its completely insane for there to be so many heavily armored cops randomly opening fire on you at all times). I get that people like this game a lot, but it feels like other than the specific vibe this game has, it doesn't have much else to offer. (It also look pretty damn good for its age) Disappointed :(

The premise set up at the beginning was really cool, but the story shifts to be something more personal to our player character. I wish the story was fleshed out a little bit more, but overall I really enjoyed this. Voice acting was surprisingly great, and I loved the visual style of the world. That blinding glint of white that covered the city was both breathtaking and bleak at the same time. IGN' Playlist app told me this would take about 10 hours to beat, but I was able to finish this in 4 (which is a perfect length for this type of game). Excited to see how Catalyst plays!
The game did not have a good gameplay design. It give you the vibe of danger in 1st person view, but the description sometime just missleading, illogical. Ex: At first you can't break glasses but later you can and the game does not even mention that. You rush in armed SWAT personnels. You keep having the vibe that your movements is clunky. I suggest you should play with the walkthrough on the internet if things starting to bug you. I'm ONLY RECOMMEND the game because the story is not bad. And in the end it make me wants to play the 2nd part ( Catalyst ) and the game got discount. But the gameplay just infuriating at 40/100 yet it's not all bad.
Mirror's Edge is a game about running across rooftops, jumping between buildings, and discovering that apparently the ground is your greatest enemy. You play as Faith, a parkour expert whose main method of transportation is not using roads like a normal person. Why take the stairs when you can sprint across a glass roof, jump onto a crane, and land on a tiny pipe 40 meters above the ground? The game is incredibly stylish. Everything is bright, clean, and minimalist except for the massive red objects screaming, "This is probably important." If you ever get lost, just look for the color red. The game is basically holding your hand while pretending you're doing parkour. The movement feels amazing. When you get into a rhythm, you feel like an unstoppable free-running legend. Then you miss one jump and immediately become a physics experiment. The combat is… well, technically there. But the game makes it very clear that you should probably just run away from armed people. Faith is a parkour expert, not a heavily armed soldier, and the game would like you to remember that. The story is serious, dramatic, and full of conspiracies. But honestly, half the time you're too busy screaming, "I definitely made that jump last time!" 9/10 Made me want to do parkour in real life. Then I remembered stairs exist.
Frutiger aero el juego wey
one of the best games from the 360 era, sucks that EA isn't going to make any more mirror's edge games :(
