it’s such a good game. really fun movement, stunning visuals, huge world, amazing atmospheric soundtrack, and an increasingly pertinent story about the surveillance state and mass complacency we find ourselves in. absolute shame the dialogue was written by someone who just finished watching The Social Network though

Though they completely changed some things in story and around Faith´s character, the love for this game is still strong, the graphics and parkour movement are still holding up good

Disconnect from the internet, open the game, go into offline mode on the EA launcher, and it should work. You can reconnect once you're loaded into the game. Not ideal, but it's manageable. It's games like these that get more and more important with time. Honest, experimental, viscerally tactile, and presented like a piece of art. It's beautiful. There are definitely a few gripes, but they do not ruin the experience at all: The attempt to make a more fleshed out world based on the first game is appreciated, though a bit heavy handed. I don't mind the characters, but the talking while I'm running is a little much. Like the first game, the controls/level design will occasionally lead to some hiccups which can be a little frustrating to get through with trial and error, but it's not too bad. Watching a walkthrough will likely be the worst case scenario, but thankfully I didn't need to. You will have to revisit the same locations often, which in a way is good to sharpen your skills in familiar areas, which you couldn't really do in the first game during a single playthrough, but it can feel repetitive. There is the option to unlock fast travel to specific safe houses though, which definitely helps. The combat is definitely a lot better than the first game, and presents some very interesting concepts that I haven't seen anywhere else. If anything, the only downside is that some of the enemies are a bit obnoxious to counter in some situations. This franchise is a truly special experience, and it explores some ideas that are still novel to this day. I highly recommend it, especially on sale.

The parkour feels perfect, kinda wish the running missions gave you more time to finish them but other then that, good game.
