We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

My mirror ass could never edge 2 catalyst
Overall: if on sale, it is worth buying and playing. Longer version: - Do not expect it to be like the original gameplay or story-wise. The gameplay and the design was changed very heavily compared to the original, namely: - They made the game open-world, which, in my opinion does not work too well with this franchise. The strength of the original was its modular design, it was not necessary to add side missions. The side-quests are repetitive (altough not all of them). You can ignore it though, and just play the main missions mostly like I did, game is perfectly playable like that too, so its not a breaking point. - The design is nothing like the original. I think the futuristic city looks are really good, but if you are a player that expects the same texture as from the original, you might get disappointed. Enemies were redesigned too, they got a futuristic "space-soldier" vibe instead of the original generic S.W.A.T. feel. But they didn't compulsively strive for photorealism so you will still be able to tell it's Mirror's Edge from a simple screenshot, don't misunderstand me, but the looks of the environment are just completely different. - Combat is awkward. In fact, they decided to lock in on it even more than in the original, I agree with critics about this, they shouldn't have doubled down on this. The improved animations and interactions do make the combat much easier and enjoyable though than in the first one, I think, but still, it just feels awkward, Krugersec sometimes stumble way too much and it feels very unrealistic to take down like 15 soldiers grouped together by yourself. Most of the time though, YOU CAN JUST BYPASS FIGHTS. There is even an attack type called traversal where you just push them away and don't lose inertia, it is fun to play that way. The obligatory fights, well, there are missions where you have to eliminate them, but it won't be hard, don't worry, I just don't think it's a smooth experience. - I have to say, I think the controls of Faith got better and more smooth compared to the original though. I don't get that feeling anymore when playing like "ahh, she should have grabbed that edge, the control is a little bit tanky", like i did sometimes with the original. I loved the first game, but still, you can tell there are 8 years in between. Some say the controls got "too smooth", so easier and and less satisfying to play, I would not say that. The controls are just more responsive and interactions are probably configured to be a bit more "sticky" than the original (so you miss less grabs and edges when coming in from awkward angles). - Story: do not expect anything groundbreaking, but I found it to be fast paced and exciting, including plot twists, and the character design is creative enough, too. (Like I said, do not expect anything ground breaking.) It is a good story for this game. - I would debate overall if it's a truly worthy sequel to the original, but if we separate it from the prequel then this is a really good game. If we consider it a sequel though, I am not so sure. But I think the game got way too much hate over the years from the fanbase than it deserved. You should definitely see it for yourself, even if you are a fan of the original. - Performance: big eeeh. Graphics is beautiful and you can hit high fps do not misunderstand me, but you might need to do quite a search on the internet to make the game run well (like, to be playable at all). For me, it sometimes lagged in so hard, that no gpu thermal or performance throttle could have caused. I disabled my game overlays though (all of them), and it got fixed. I never had any issues with Steam overlay before. Although, for your machine, something else could cause some lag, so you might need to dig up the internet to figure out what (antivirus, slow hard drive, etc.), there are plenty of tutorials out there. This is not the case for everyone but be prepared...
Underrated gem.
EA is literally one of the evil ass corporations being depicted in the game. Anyway EA being trash aside, they don't deserve Mirror's Edge. Still a 10/10.
Muito bom
