I have very mixed feelings about this game... I appreciate the franchise, I love Faith and her character here, but the game's very unpolished in comparison to the original game in many aspects. The plot is anticlimatic, the abundance of characters makes a disservice because the rushed narration doesn't give you any opportunity to start sympathizing with them, plus it's very hard to be even thrilled by the events since music is calm most of the time when you're supposed to be nervous and feel the adrenaline pumping. As for the gameplay.. you can't feel like you're running anymore - i don't know whether it's because of the fixed camera, or weird body moves, or else - but it made me want to turn this game off and launch the original one from 2009... The only somewhat upside i can point out is the open world - it's beautiful. The game continued and leveled up the architecture of the prequel, although it ruined the runner's vision - the red color used to lure us and help to navigate, to feel like a high-speed predator on the roofs, and also suited the art direction, but now it's... lacking

pretty cool free world parkour, even after beating story (unlike the orginial)

boring, repetitive and not engaging. Frustration level high. 1 out of 5 stars. Mirrors Edge was definitly way better than Catalys.

A way better game than the first. It runs so well, and looks really good. There are tons of activities to do and the missions, especially the last one, can be really damn good. The combat is way better and it feels cool to take out 50 guards with your fists. It is a pretty accurate representation of our world now, with people choosing a life of comfort and letting the corporations control you. It's almost like Assassin's Creed after watch dogs. Very good game 8.75/10

this game is beautiful, i love it

I've played the game in 2026 when servers were already shut down, and the game was fun. Gameplay doesn't offer much variety but parkour and combat mechanics, visual style and acting deliver enough satisfaction to spend a week in this setting, do some courier runs and side missions. Regarding the bugs, I encountered only one dead loading screen during final mission after dying a lot at the same stage. Game runs smooth.
