We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
The game itself is solid and clearly built with care, but the publisher has done it a huge disservice. Achievements are practically impossible to obtain now because EA shut down the servers, forcing players to rely on awkward community-made workarounds just to access content that should still be available. On top of that, the EA launcher is unreliable. It occasionally bugs out and asks me to activate the game again, even though I’ve already done it before. It’s frustrating and breaks the experience. A truly good game is one that stands the test of time, and unfortunately this one hasn’t aged well—not because of the developers, who created a strong and enjoyable game, but because of the ongoing issues caused by the publisher.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

As much as people will hate on this game, I personally think it's amazing. Yeah the story sucks hard and doesn't have any connection to the first game, but honestly the story to me doesn't matter at all. The gameplay and graphics sell it for me, The controls feel so smooth and responsive that it actually makes controlling Faith so much fun. The graphics in this game are so beautiful it's insane, For a game that came out 10 years ago and having it still look amazing is pretty impressive. However there are two major downsides to this game. First off you have to install the EA App to play it which is pretty annoying since every time you want to play the game it has to open the EA App first before it can launch the game. Screw EA for the forced DRM and screw them for killing off the Mirror's Edge IP. Second downside is that EA shut down the servers for this game so you can no longer unlock any new achievements, plus unlock the online only achievements. Thankfully a group of people were able to reverse engineer the EA servers so now it is actually possible to play the game the way it was intended. Huge shoutout to the beat revival project for working on this. And because of them, I was finally able to unlock the last two achievements I needed to get 100%. The project is currently in open beta so expect to encounter bugs and glitches while using it. link to the project: https://beatrevival.me Anyways I think this game is a 10/10 and its definitely worth playing despite its flaws.
to play this game, you need to install EA's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ offbrand chinese spyware ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you make the mistake of installing this game because of course steam doesn't tell you what it downloads, be prepared to see kernel rooted ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in your directory. The only cure is to take your drive and smash it to bits.
Decent Game, could've been great if not for Online BS. Main issue is that the game no longer work on Steam Deck/Linux SOLELY due to the phaseout of Origin in favor of the EA App, a mandatory launcher for a Steam game, preventing the game from working. Spent an hour trying different fixes to no avail. If buying the game legally is more of a hassle than other ways, then EA is messing up tremendously.
This game doesn't even work man, as soon as the first, long, unskipable cutscene ends you get an infinite load screen, i found 3 possible fixes: - Start the game disconnected from internet until you are in the main map, and then you can connect and play freely forever - Put steam in offline mode + put EA APP in offline mode as soon as it launches - Download a save from the internet. I did it all at the same time so IDK what fixed it, but it worked. Now, the game itself is pretty solid: - Aesthetics and sound are very good but i feel they should have kept the original design and style which was pretty bold and still fresh today, instead they opted for a futuristic setting with more random and abstract levels. Sadly this also affect the story, it's a much less grounded story and characters are more histrionic and tryhard, story is very cliché and filled with "modern AAA slang" if you know what i mean. - The missions are good, not as good as the OG game, but ok, the main issue is some forced combats, and the combat system is not very good, don't know why they even included combat in this game, parkour should be the protagonist and luckily parkour gameplay is fantastic, is a much more agile and flexibble version of the original, not neccessarily better tho, just different, but incredibly fun nonetheless. - Open world sucks ass, the map design is good but the content is not, so if you play it, please skip everything in the open world. Skip everything BUT the timed challenges, getting 3 stars is THE BEST and pretty addictive. Im actually kinda bummed this game was not a success, i would gladly pay for more time trials in the style of this game. Another game victim of open world and AAA trends, why make a good, cheap, short but well made game when you can make an ultra ambitious AAA Open World with Mocap and expensive celebs and high fidelity graphics that will destroy the series if it fails. Sigh.
