short hidden object game, not bad at all. played the first one, they're a little dated, but it was fun for a short game. i had no trouble with finding things, just had to look harder. interesting story, leaves an opening for the story to continue, i would be interested in playing another one if they come out with one.
its awesome loved every minute

Yea. No. Get it on sale if you must. It continues the story of the first game and it sets up for a sequel. While the hidden item searches are interesting, the game itself is annoying. You will have to wait for things to load or do thier sequence before click on another item in puzzles some times. Also sometimes you'll have to click on something more than once for it to register. Liked the first game, this one not so much. Again only get if you a fan of the serries.
If you liked the first one then you'll like this one. All of the hidden object portions of this game are find the pieces to build the item then use it in the scene to reveal more pieces to the other items you need to build & use until the final item is built, which is the item you are after. Instead of a printed list of objects you are given boxes which contain pictures of the pieces you have to find. Each box represents an item you are building as you find the parts. I find this a nice alternative to the list of items we usually have in these games. That said, it would be nice if we could have both kinds in the same game. Loved this one as much as the first, and I'm sure I'll replay it as often too. If you are a hidden object fan, then you need this game in your life.

Nicely done game, original hidden object scenes, interesting puzzles. Unfortunatelly too short.
The Mirror Mysteries: Forgotten Kingdoms is an improvement over the original. The game is a bit longer in length and the worlds are more fleshed out. The game still isn’t as involving as it could be and I question the need to change the mirror’s personality. People who enjoy the original weirdly may take issues with changes that improve the game while others who didn’t enjoy the original may see slight improvement but not enough to justify spending enough time with the sequel.
Pros +60FPS +Nice art style, improved graphics +HO scenes fun +Good HO scene difficulty +Puzzle variety is good Cons +Short (barely 2 hours) +No story +Bad voice acting +No click penalty +Full screen aspect ratio only I played the first Mirror Mysteries over 2 years ago. With that said, this sequel isn’t very good but does have some positives. The art style and graphics are nice and seem to be improved. The first world with the Fallout like info terminals is great. The 2 main areas of the game are of course the HO scenes and the puzzles. The HO scenes were good and follow the first game where you are given an object to find rather than the word. Some objects were hidden very well and hard to find, which makes for a good challenge! Puzzles this time are described at the bottom of the screen. There were some unique ones that I haven’t come across, which is always nice to see. They were all easy and shouldn’t cause much trouble. The game is very short. Barely 2 hours and only had a couple different worlds to travel to. Conclusion I’m giving this a thumbs down due to the short length and feeling like a step down compared to the original. With the decent puzzles and HO scenes, it will get the same score as the first game. If it’s on sale for less than $1, then go ahead and pick it up if you’re into the genre. Otherwise, you can pass this one up 4/10 Below Average
