Much more challenging than the cutesy facade given off.

Tags: Platformer Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Constant asset recycling, visually monotonous level design. Lunar lander object routing featuring little anime witches on brooms that shoot stars. Because the stars come one by one and give the momentum, the flying action is not smooth. There is a gimmick in that you must also use the stars as a weapon which means you will often have to bork your navigation in the hope of killing of the endless copy pasted slimes around the level. Your mission if you accept it is to explore aroud, find levers and keys to clear the wormhole and exit, and grab 3 easter egg gems along the way. There are a few resolutions options offered and the engine itself was well behaved. Would probably find a small niche but ultimately the quality of the gameplay loop is not that great, the action is confused by having to switch from using navigation from attack to movement, and it just feels very samey and clumsy.

Very cute, very fun, pleasantly challenging for the first two hours or so. Then I encountered the horror stage that is Bump Madness. Thankfully, I could skip it, but that would anyway prove to signify the end of my honeymoon with this game. I perservered for a few more stages, but gradually, the difficulty level overcame me. I really like this game, but I'm really too noob for it. T_T
