I was buying Wuchang Fallen Feathers key and saw an option to add a random game that the site chooses to give and i selected it and got this game such a underrated and a cool game
Amazingly underrated title. The gameplay is unique and original, being easy to learn and hard to master. A lategame level can be unlocked near the start to showcase how difficult it gets, although by the time you get to the lategame your skills will likely have improved enough to make the level much more manageable. Similar to MagiCat, which this game precedes, there's a lot of forgiveness mechanics here with the game letting you respawn an infinite amount of times provided you have enough Stars (obtained by collecting 100 coins or clearing a level with all three Gems, to name a few methods). Unfortunately, the developer has left the publisher so a few bugs in the game will likely never be fixed. You can switch between full 2D or PS1-style 2.5D, but one endgame level crashes when playing in 2D mode, so sticking to 2.5D is the best choice. There are four game modes: the normal game, New Game+, Bonus Game and Boss Challenge. The normal mode has you choose between three characters to clear over 100 levels. Just this alone easily has over 20 hours of playtime. New Game+ is unlocked upon finishing the normal mode with all three characters clearing an equal number of levels, and replaces the main three characters with another trio with different abilities, allowing some stages to be broken apart for fun. "Bonus Game" is unlocked upon finishing New Game+ with an equal number of clears across the three new characters, and about 40 hours into the game you're still seeing new content, as this mode contains all 120 levels with unique modifiers and clear conditions not seen anywhere else in the game. Boss Challenge contains boss rematches and special boss fights (as well as two completely unique stages) unlocked through playing the normal and New Game+ modes by clearing all Time Trials in the former and defeating all bosses and collecting all blue Gems in both modes. Originally this mode couldn't be finished 100% as one boss fight crashed when you selected a specific character (though you could still beat it with other characters, so the achievement wasn't missable), but the developer fixed it last year, although the update needs to be applied manually (it's available in the discussion forums). This is the definitive version of this game, sporting a ton more content compared to the mobile version on top of keyboard/controller support. Playing with an analog stick seems to be the best way, allowing you to be much more precise with your flight angles, which isn't as easy when playing with a mouse or with touch controls on mobile. The main three characters have lots of outfits you can choose from for fun and variety, and even late into the Bonus Game mode the game is still teaching you about its hidden mechanics (one of which is activated similarly to the Treasure Ship in Super Mario Bros. 3). The game is not perfect, but it's original and full of personality. I really hope this gets a revival and gains the recognition it deserves someday.

Well... what I can say here? This is one of the most cute, astonishingly simple and surprisingly fun games I've seen so far. +: EXTREMELY cute design and characters (you can choose between three witches with different attack styles). +: Really good and not annoying soundtrack. +: The basic idea of the game is a most simple platformer as it is, but with really unusual mechanic - you move yourself with the recoil power from your shots, shooting and flying simultaneously, which is really hard to master at first. +: Learning curve is very good, almost every level have some new small elements and tricks (well, I've only played through the middle of the second world and there's 100+ levels in total, but it's still feels fresh). +: The game is simple and absolutely not frustrating in general (it's actually the very opposite of a rage game), but every level could be considered as a small puzzle, with its tricks and traps here and there. +: Once again, it IS cute. And Daria is the best) -: I'm playing with a controller and it took me three tries to find good layout for controls. The game doesn't understand the use of triggers and D-pad, so you're left with only LB, RB, sticks and main buttons (and they're just numbered from 1 to 8). My current layout: LB - Touch RB - Move LStick - Flying RStick - Dragging Select - X Start - Pause A - OK The rest doesn't matter, I don't use Shoot which is inverted Move, I just fly in the opposite direction when I need to attack an enemy. With this you can choose the mode (flying or dragging) with one hand and move the target with the other hand, and you just switch hands when it needed. -: It's actually the consequence of the previous one (the partial controller support): the navigation in the menus with the controller is a bit clumsy, and OK button in the options doesn't work, everything just being applied instantly. Well, maybe it's really meant to be played with mouse only, but it's just a little inconvenience. Overall, it's a really good game. But I bought it on summer sale and... it's OK - I think, I want at least some simple plot for the full price. But even without sale it's a good choice. There is no story in Miracle Fly. The characters are just having fun in the Dream World. So, let's have fun together. ^^ upd: After clearing world 5, I have to say that many people may need to add <SARCASM> tag here. :P But the review is still actual in its fullest, the game just becomes exponentially more challenging with each level and it is a REAL mind-blowing puzzle now at times. But controller' controls sometimes become a source of big frustration, especially when you need a really precise movement. upd2: Since I started my own Curator page, I guess I'll add something. I finished the main game and went into NewGame+ long ago, and it's utterly awesome for this game to have GIANT potential for replayability being thoroughly used. It's sad that further development of this game was abandoned, so there could still be some bugs in latest added levels (some people spotted them in NewGame+++, and yes, this game is that extensive). But still, it's by far the best platformer game I have ever played. And it's one of those rare games where I actually cried when I saw the ending credits... It seems that I fell in love with those cute witches. =) ----- If you are interested in other games I'm playing, check my Curator page. Maybe there will be something good for you.
Didn't expect an almost 10 year old indie game to be nearly as fun as it is! I've only played a bit so far, but it seems seriously under rated!
小清新的卡通风格游戏,喜+1来的,还不错。
