this game peak
This game is basically Zelda mixed with a twin-stick shooter. I originally played it on Xbox Game Pass and liked it so much that I bought it here on Steam. I ended up stepping away for a few months and forgot everything when I came back, so I never finished it. It is definitely worth playing, but I recommend sticking with it until you are done. Ran well on the Steamdeck. 4/5
Wow, what a game. It somehow flew under my radar for years. This game came to me at a time when I was travelling, feeling home sick. Perfect on Steam Deck. It felt both fresh and nostalgic at the same time. My brain could relax and let my fingers do the playing, after a long day of working abroad. The art style is charming, but also precise and pristine. The sound design and music is absolutely spot on, the soudn design makes the game feel small, cute, but also hefty and tactile. Like throwing pebbles in a creek. Now the CONTROLS. So tight. So responsive. I'm not really a bullet hell maestro, but this game teaches you bit by bit and before you know it, your fingers and dodging and weaving a screen full of projectiles and you didn't even know you could do it. The exploration is great, it has ability gating, metroidvania elements. It has just the right amount of exploration and collectibles and doesn't pad itsef out or overstay it's welcome. Absolutely marvellous game I will never forget.
Smooth, controls like butter, nice to look at, satisfactory. Don't be scared by the bullet hell side of this, it's an exploration and upgrade game, a metroidvania of sorts. This is a joy to play. I'll probably see this to credits. We need more games like this.
It's ... fine, like a old Flash game writ large. The Zelda half works well, the shmup half is just functional and fairly basic IMO. It's a fine videogame, but know what you are getting in to.
short game but it was fun
