About

After a failed heist, a group known as the Renegades is forced to flee, crash landing near the mysterious planet Paimo. With no other choice, they descend into its depths in search of help and uncover secrets that should have remained buried.
Descend solo or with up to two friends into the dangerous depths of PAIMO. Coordinate your abilities, share gadgets, and work together to survive. But watch your back... sometimes you’ll need to unleash your inner Renegade and break away from the group to maximize your rewards.
Inside the MineGeon, every run is a chance to grow stronger. Level up to unlock powerful Gadgets that grant a wide variety of upgrades to aid you in battle, equip a variety of weapons to match your playstyle, and choose Ultimates that can completely change how you approach combat. Combining Gadgets, Weapons, and Ultimates creates unique synergies that will shape your descent into PAIMO.
PAIMO is filled with minerals that bring out your inner greed. The deeper you descend, the greater the rewards and the risks. Collect valuable minerals and trade them for permanent upgrades, but choose wisely when to send them back to your ship.
The biomes of PAIMO are home to a vast array of enemies. Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter the Scavengers, who will do anything to stop your descent. Why are they so determined to keep you from going deeper? Each biome culminates in a boss battle that will push your skills and strategies to the limit.
Progression is key to your survival and success. As you explore and gather resources, you can upgrade your skills and equipment to grow stronger with every run. Invest in permanent upgrades for your spaceship and enhance each Renegade’s attributes to prepare for the challenges ahead.
Access the Galactic Express PC to buy over 200 items, decorations, and themed objects from the biomes you explore, and customize the interior of your ship to your liking. Organize your base, visit other Renegades' ships online, and show off your setup to the community.
Choose from three classes, each with their own ultimate ability and unique stats. From Marshall, the resilient Tank, to Trevor, the deadly DPS Gunslinger, and Ari, the balanced Engineer. Find your role within the team and combine your strengths with other Renegades to maximize your chances of surviving the descent into PAIMO.
Deep within PAIMO lie mysterious monoliths pulsing with ancient technology. These relics let the Renegades decide how to continue their descent, vote as a team to choose the path that benefits everyone, or follow your own ambition.

Super fun, coop is a bonus. Refreshing take on a busy genre

I’ve been playing this game and I’m absolutely loving it! The art style, the gameplay, and the characters are all fantastic. It’s been a lot of fun so far, and I can’t wait to keep playing. Highly recommended!
Gameplay it's fun, I love it, had a good time with my friend, I would love to see different color palettes for characters!
Three characters who look like bounty hunters are on the run from a group of guards. They eventually get trapped in a docking bay, and it is only a matter of time before the doors give way. Fortunately, one of them finds a ship that might be their ticket to freedom. With no time to think, they jump inside, fire up the hyperdrive, and hit the button without caring where it takes them. They escape, but end up in orbit around an unknown planet, and their ship is barely holding together. Hoping to repair and refuel it, they head down to the surface in search of resources, only to discover that the planet is a mining world where fortunes can supposedly be made in no time. Although you can choose between three characters, the differences in their stats are almost negligible, and they all play in much the same way. Everyone has a primary weapon, a jump that doubles as both a dodge and a way to clear gaps, and a trusty pickaxe. Your main weapon has unlimited ammo, while every other weapon requires ammunition. Thankfully, ammo is common enough that running out is rarely a major concern. The pickaxe is essential because it is the only tool capable of breaking environmental objects. Weapons have no effect on them. Smashing crates, barrels, and other objects rewards you with coins, health, chest keys, or ammunition. Small harmless critters can also be attacked, and they often drop gems that provide minor permanent stat increases for your current run. More valuable targets are stones and rocks, which can only be mined with the pickaxe. These either drop unique resources or experience orbs that fill your experience bar. Every time the bar fills, you get to choose one gadget from a random selection of three. Gadgets offer a wide variety of perks, including a chance to dodge attacks, increased movement speed and damage, orbiting helper drones, healing effects, improved loot drops, and much more. Some of the rarer gadgets come with both a benefit and a drawback, but most simply make your character stronger. Enemies also drop ammo and experience, although usually in smaller quantities than mining does, and different enemy types have a chance of dropping their own unique resources. Stones provide biome specific resources, with each biome introducing new materials. However, you can only carry a limited amount before you need to find a rocket, usually one in every stage, to send your haul back to the ship for safekeeping. Progress follows a roguelite structure. At various points, you choose between different routes, each containing four events. Once you commit to a path, you cannot switch until you complete every event on it and reach the next branching point. This comes after defeating a mid boss and later the biome's main boss. Defeating the main boss unlocks the next biome, introducing a completely new environment, tougher enemies, and another boss waiting at the end. The cycle continues for as long as you can survive. The most common events are combat encounters. Some take place in larger stages where you freely explore until you find the exit, while others trap you inside an arena where every enemy must be defeated before the exit opens. The exploration stages are easily the more interesting of the two because they often hide collectibles and special encounters. You can discover diary pages to read back on your ship, grab companions who accompany you on your next run, or hire miners who mine stones while you’re taking care of enemies. Miners ignore friendly fire, but if you decide to shoot them before hiring them, they immediately turn hostile. There is no penalty for doing this, and defeating them rewards you with some worthwhile loot, so the temptation is definitely there. Other events include challenge rooms, where you complete small minigames such as sprinting across an obstacle course while attacks rain down from every direction. There is also a gadget shop where you can spend coins upgrading your equipment. Weapon shops appear as well, but fortunately you always receive one weapon for free, so there is no need to spend your hard earned money there unless you want to upgrade them. Eventually, every run comes to an end. As you reach later biomes, enemies become too strong to keep up with forever. Fortunately, dying is simply part of the progression. Every run grants overall experience that unlocks new features, while the resources collected through mining allow you to expand and improve your ship. Some upgrades remain on the ship itself. For example, the pickaxe station lets you craft stronger pickaxes. This is essential because weaker versions cannot mine the tougher rocks found in later biomes, preventing you from collecting valuable resources even if you manage to reach them. Another station lets you permanently improve your character's stats by spending gems earned through leveling up. Other upgrades directly affect future runs. These include unlocking level three gadgets and weapons, since they initially cap at level two, adding new merchants, or enabling extremely useful perks such as automatically collecting all remaining experience whenever you leave a room. The best upgrades, however, are locked behind higher ship levels and resources found only in later biomes, giving you plenty of reasons to keep pushing forward. Once you finish upgrading your ship and preparing for another expedition, you can enable optional modifiers that make future runs more challenging while increasing the rewards. After that, all that is left is to jump into a giant pot and begin again. Every run starts from scratch, meaning bosses have to be defeated all over again, but each attempt feels a little easier as long as you return with as many resources as possible.
3 Runs deep. 1st and 2nd run made it to the end of second biome, 3rd run made it to mid of 3rd biome. From these runs what I will say is the game is very good, but not perfect. The positives however do outweigh the negatives. Positives: -Good meta progression -3 Unique characters that offer different play styles -Longevity, the game is based around repeatable cycles -Difficulty spike through each biome -Unique ship upgrades to better progression -Great range of different utilities to help on runs (Companions and miners) -Scalable difficulty Negatives: - The runs can seem a little long especially at the start - Meta progression can feel too grindy too early (Not having a pickaxe for biome 2) - Companion miners get stuck on mineral nodes and on certain enemies - Lack of variety of enemies in the 1st biome but will admit they do have many more in the later biomes. - Second biome jump bugs seem a bit OP compared to the other enemies - Progression can feel to stagnate as 1st biome ore is what matters the most, if this is the case should make earlier meta progression feel easier or make it easier to collect more of the resource without upgrades or make it accessible in the other biomes. - Some of the ship upgrades seem like they are just there for the sake of being there - Too many game mechanics don't feel fleshed out enough (Companions, miners, shop upgrades and some boons) Conclusion- A very solid game albeit lacking in certain areas, feels like a jack of all trades game and master of none, great ideas just need more fine tuning, biggest annoyance being the slow curve to get to second biome pickaxe and the following 3rd biome pickaxe. The best thing about the game is the meta progression and potential for future biomes and run. The problem being I can imagine most people will stop playing before then as the early game progression is too steep. 7/10
《MineGeon: Renegades》

I played the demo and the difference is (positively) huge! There are way more gadgets to try out, the different weapons to try are very fun (the demo only had 3 available). They also balanced some OP gadgets like Fire Dash that could melt bosses in seconds so that's nice they got it fixed, and I haven't encountered the life steal gadget, maybe they removed it or lowered the chance to get it coz it was super strong too. Squashing critters always feels good! And if you manage to get the Triple Tap weapon with Electrifying Bullets ultimate, prepare to melt enemies with a WHOLE LOTTA DoT, it feels super satisfying, so congrats to the dev team for the release and great upgrade from the demo!
