Mind the Vikings

Dead...

Seit September 2018 kein Lebenszeichen von den Entwicklern mehr. Es sollte im Januar 2019 weitergehen, aber nichts passiert. Dieses Spiel dürfte wohl endgültig begraben sein. Ich verstehe nur nicht, warum es bei Steam weiter verkauft wird.

Die Idee war gut, doch es ist wahrscheinlicher, dass die Menschheit noch in diesem Jahrzehnt zum Mars fliegt, als dass an diesem Spiel in diesem Jahr weitergearbeitet wird. Spart Euch das Geld.

i guess the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game is dead ...wish i could get my money that they used for a vacation back ...13 bucks im out and screwed by these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. steam needs to take the game down and ban them for ever :) the game had some good ideas but they screwed us..and its till for sale ..don't buy it

Would be a good game, devs have abandoned and Steam keeps allowing people to waste money purchasing.....

This game had significant potential, but it was unfortunately abandoned by the developers extremely early in the process. It's little more than a bare-bones engine concept at the moment. Most recent update was in 2020, definitely not worth purchasing at the moment, at least.

My main complain is the user interface. While playing it became obvious to me that the developers choose solutions which are easy to implement and sacrifice the "feel" part. Regarding features, the game is in the very early phase, There are better games on the market, some which didn't came to Steam yet, also made by a small team or even one developer. Edit: Hi Simon, Thanks for commenting. It is not good to say "we are very bad at something" because I know improving your skills will take longer than improving a game. You should say "we will do our best to improve xyz in the game". Also avoid using the word "try" - we will try... Regarding the user interface: - I found uncomfortable using Q and E to rotate the map - giving orders to people by dragging them to the resources ended up often giving them wrong orders, when resources were overlapping - I made a farming plot completely enclosed. Viking could not leave. I noticed later the gate structure and the hint about this danger. The game should prevent such occurrences in the first place. Maybe. Unless I can use that with a purpose. - switching from one winking to the next one to check the clan, opened the popup with the details out of the screen, partially. (I was checking the clans because some houses were completely empty. Most likely a bug.) - I was not able to place the fishing hut. Maybe I didn't had enough resources... but better check once more that building. Regarding gameplay: As soon as night started, the vikings started to sleep on the ground, also some houses were empty. I don't like that. Also you took over from other games the idea of colony members with defects - in this case the vikings fight each-other. How can I like my village if the citizens behave so badly? Apparently this is a new trend in such games and I will have to learn to manage difficult people. If you improve the game I will buy it once more and I will update my review.
