Play as Miyamoto Musashi in this beautiful 2D platformer and travel through a 17th century fantasy Japan, from north to the island of Ganryu-jima where everything happened between Musashi and Kojiro. The game is inspired by the story of Takezo Musashi from the famous novel “The Stone And The Sword”.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautiful game with great style and atmosphere, but unfortunately it is broken in its current state. The biggest issue is that the attack button is set to “none” in the control settings, and it cannot be changed at all. This makes the game unplayable. I really hope the developers fix this soon, because the game looks amazing but you simply cannot play it as it is right now.
Decent side scrolling action platformer with ninjas. Continuation of previous game from the arcades. Controls are solid that's all you need to know. Quick slash, dash and throwing darts are available. 5 stages divided into acts with powerful boss at the end. Levels are nicely made with different environments but each holds Japanese style. Visuals have nice retro pixel feel. Music is great. Main con - no visual filters like CRT effect. Difficulty rather high so play at your own risk.
Sometimes the jump button randomly stops working
This game is a glorious love letter to classics like Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi — written in beautiful calligraphy, folded into a paper shuriken, and then thrown directly at your face. The gameplay is smooth... until it’s not. Let’s talk about the bug. Somewhere in your journey of slicing and dicing, your character will just randomly forget how to jump. That’s right — no jump, no hop, not even a sad little bunny skip. Just dash to fix it! (Until that stops working too, right when you're staring down a bottomless pit.) Stages 1 to 3? Great fun. Retro challenge, cool bosses, slick action. Stage 4? It’s like the game looked into your soul and said, “You’ve had enough joy.” It’s brutally hard, and not in a satisfying Soulslike way — more like “Why did I pay money to suffer?” Run out of lives? That’s adorable. Back to the start of the stage, ninja. No checkpoint, no mercy. Can you quit and continue later from the same stage? Maybe. Probably not. Good luck finding out without accidentally starting from scratch. Buy this game if: - You love retro ninja games - You eat pain for breakfast - It’s 90% off Otherwise, just go play Shinobi and jump whenever you like.
mixed reviews largely because of git gud, rather than bugs. Sad to see, but inevitable when you are faithfully recreating a punishing genre of game. If you know your stuff, this is that tall sprite, quick stuff. Precise and challenging. Like back in the day when you didn't just burn through a game in an afternoon and moan online about variation and ng+ You just die, play again. Get literally an inch further, die, play some more. And enjoy it. Before long it won't be possible to do games like this, the youngsters won't stand for it and everyone else will be dead ;)
It's a spirital successor of "Shinobi" game series - gameplay is neat, pixel art is good, boss fights are mostly great... but there's ooone small issue - it's buggy, sometimes buggy as hell due to which the player cannot complete the stage on the first try (for example - you will occasionally just lose the ability to jump). And that's a shame because I was planning to beat the game in second time with zero deaths. I cannot understand why game came out in this state because it does everything else well! But despite technical issues - the game is worth to try (you can get it at a very low discounted price (-90%)). Storybird Studio - fix your game, please :)
The minecart level is terrible, combat feels like it has no impact, the levels are kinda OK but I guess it's all just about enemy placement memorization. There's no way to turn off the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ screen shake. Who releases a game like this in 2022? Didn't groove with me. I did like and finish the original Shinobis (arcade and Mega Drive) so it's not like I don't enjoy this type of game.
No começo é tudo de boa, mas ao avançar das fases por algum motivo os comandos não respondem bem, houveram partes que eu comecei a atravessar paredes e cair nos buracos simplesmente não vale a pena, gaste seu dinheiro com outra coisa.
It's good but the difficult gets unfair at the last couple of levels, for this reason I abandoned it before finishing it. Also, I experienced the bug affecting the jump multiple times...
I'm trying to have fun, but I hate the controls. The in-game config greatly limits how you can change them. It can't recognize triggers and it has you assigning buttons to actions instead of actions to buttons. The pause menu also doesn't consistently pause gameplay. It can even still register inputs for gameplay while navigating the menu.
