Lovely game, really feel the influences it draws from. Certainly worth anyone's time to try; at the price it's at it's a steal.
This is my GOTY 2026. If you like 2D Zelda and/or Souls games, you'll like this fantastic combination of the two's gameplay. The art direction is 10/10, The level of detail is 10/10, The music is 100/10... I could glaze this game all day, but I'll end by saying: Yacht Club Games cooked a 5-star game, once again. Oh, and did I mention that it's only $20? If I had a nickel for every super fun and cool indie game that featured a red-clad maiden fighting through a dangerous land, I'd now have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, and I'm so happy that it happened twice.

i was skeptical at first but holy putting some effort and few hours into this game leveled it up sososososo much if you are starting early in this game it can be discouraging but once you understand some things(i am still learning things i could have done in the start of the game) you will enjoy this experience so much
This is, in general, one of the most thoughtfully designed games I've played. Every single aspect of it from start to finish has an extreme amount of polish and forethought put into it. That being said, I can see the difficulty being a turn off for some. I've played a fair number of difficult games and the late game for this really frustrated me at some points. The game's excellent design counter-balanced this for me however, and I can definitely see myself playing this again and again, as I have shovel knight and its spinoffs.
