Fantastic game! A few minor annoyances, but not enough to take away from its vision or how well the devs executed it. Definitely rough starting out, but stick it out and you're in for a treat

Absolutely amazing game. The world building and the puzzles, absolute banger soundtrack, characters, gameplay, it's all nicely wrapped up into this immersive retro style game that will remind you of 90's gaming. For those of you who didn't get to live that era this right here is your gateway, with a modern twist of course. Also a mouse that is into bones but not cheese is wild to say the least.
Shovel Knight was very well-done but never quite [i]my[/i] kind of thing. Mina, however, is definitely my thing. I grew up with the Gameboy Color Zelda games and in more recent years have come to appreciate games with trickier action combat like Elden Ring, so I felt very at home here. The zany mad science themes and weapons, the build diversity with trinkets, the often-unusual "dungeons" (especially [spoiler]Nox's Bayou[/spoiler], [spoiler]Bone Beach[/spoiler], and the [spoiler]Astral Orrery[/spoiler]) - there's a lot to love here. Some people have friction with the early game, but if you meet it on its terms, read signs and news, and get some upgrades before venturing too far you should be just fine.
