I just finished the game and I can share my experience: First of all, the concept of the game is awesome and in my opinion, if it was done well and fully refined, it would be same, or even more popular than Jump King. In my opinion, the biggest problems so far have been: - settings interface too empty (3 options that don't even save when we exit the game), - no change of scenery and a very short map, - no achievements, so there's no point in actually playing the game yet, - no checkpoints and changes in scenery to make progress visible and the game gets boring quickly :( - the game's difficulty changes too much (the game's difficulty varies throughout the game, it's hard at the beginning, then it gets easier, and at the very end it's definitely too hard). - the controls are a bit strange and even broken at times: (- the mouse off the screen blocks aiming the ball, - the ball's texture breaks when the ball falls to the ground, - when we hold the left mouse button while falling, we cannot aim the ball on the ground and when we release the LMB, the ball flies left or right, - the camera refuses to move up in the most important moments of the game, - sometimes the ball bounces off the wall and sometimes it doesn't, - the ability to bounce off the wall when falling is useless and hinders more than it actually helps.) I hope that the author is still working on the game and will update it in the future because the concept of the game is really good. I'll be waiting :P
There is one key problem, and that is that it has a cursor. Thus, if you hit the edge of the screen while aiming, you simply can't launch harder than that. That is a problem in a game like this.
This was a fun challenge, with pretty balanced difficulty, only took 4 hours. I love the way the ball looks when you fling it, it was the main reason I got this game. This is certainly an interesting getting over it type game in the sense that out of the 6 of the games I've played, this is by far the easiest to make progress, but also the easiest to loose a ton of progress. Though I think this game has some issues: -The
double jump
is sort of hard to figure out how it works and isn't explained to you, as it does not work as a normal jump. I eventually did figure it out I think but I think it should have been explained. Though not a huge deal if they thought figuring it out was part of the fun. -Every time you reopen the game you have to hit the levers again (this is annoying) -Every time you reopen the game the sound setting resets (it's loud) -Why is the retry button where the "resume" button is in most games -Why is there no confirm to the retry button (take a guess at what I did) -The portal sound plays even when you just get near it and don't actually go through it which is kinda weird (This is only mildly unsettling, I don't really care) -Biggest issue: The camera does not follow you fast enough when falling, yet there are ledges in a specific section made for you to save yourself on, and if you fall more then about a screen and a half the ball goes off screen and you have to guess where you are. -Can't see very far above you, and for the blocks that disappear below you (especially at the very end) that's really annoying. I think this game would benefit from more maps!
yep
Fun! very challenging, but not too crazy as to cause an existential crisis. recommended!
Took me about 4 hours to beat, after the learning curve it is very fun and challenging
It's a good game and a cool idea, kinda like Getting Over It but... R E G R E T S
여기서는 넘어가지 않게 살짝 소심하게 살짝 솟 아 너무 소심했다 그럼 다음엔 좀 과감하게 멀리 넘어가도 좋으니까 살짝 넘어가 아 tlq
It's a difficult game, not due to bad controls, no the controls are great, its hard because it was designed well. It is enjoyable. I still haven't beaten it, though I've gotten fairly close to the end. I will beat it someday, but that day is not today.
как ачивхантер могу сказать следующее : мне не нравится как любитель сложных игр скажу : я доволен как ... в общем покупайте и закатите свой ball на вершину
