Salmon Tower

A very clever take on the Foddian/Rage Tower game type, with a kind of Ecco the Dolphin meets Stickman Golf control mechanic. It is hard like any rage climbers, but the controls make a lot more sense than throwing yourself around with a sledge hammer. I can see this becoming a crash-out streamer's obsession, driven by speed runner times that make the streamers nuts.

Salmon Tower is a beautifully crafted game with quite a charming atmosphere. Most "rage games" take place in unrealistic conditions, yet the ascent of this Salmon feels so much more real. The physics and controls are surprisingly intuitive yet the mechanics are leveraged in a way that frustrates you until you get the sweet satisfaction of finally making it to the next checkpoint. The game contains a range of difficulties from the base checkpointed mode that even those new to platformers would be able to enjoy to a significantly altered or checkpoint-less experience that really tests your capabilities as a player. If you enjoy the wonderful ambiance of a salmons journey "up" their river or the pure psychological torture offered from the typical "Foddian" experience, I highly suggest you give Salmon Tower a try.

YOU REALLY WENT ALL OUT AND MADE THIS AS HARD AS POSSIBLE LOL My bro made this and It's his first steam game, so please give him your support so he will keep at it. He's a huge gamer, with a diverse taste in games, and has always wanted to make his own games to give back to the community. TIP 1: As it shows in the top left, click "R" to restart from the last checkpoint when you fall. TIP 2: Press escape to bring up options and in the Gameplay section select "Always Follow Mouse" and "Right Mouse Movement", then you can use your mouse and Right click to move, and then hold Left click to Dash. It's a difficult game, but so satisfying (in an old school way) when you make it to the next checkpoint. Really enjoying it my man. Made it to the "faith jumps" section so far! (it was tough for me to even get there lol).

As a fish myself i must say this is a very good game! Im very bad but was able to have a ton of fun playing and the trial and errors we're pretty rewarding. mechanics were cool to learn and would recommend it for casual gaming and speed running! Do goldfish next plzzzzzz

This game is pretty cool I would check it out!! Took me some time to get the hang out of it but worth it.
