Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best BR #46, worst PL #83 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 15.43/day in the week to Aug 27 → 23.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

SUCUMBA ELTARIEL TALION GOAT

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Ok
MUUUY BUEN JUEGO.

This game is essentially the epitome of a perfect sequel (if not still only a good game); the story, combat, world, graphics, Nemesis system, etc., are all at least somewhat better in comparison to SOM, if only slightly in some areas (like the story; both are still pretty terrible, although SOW's is slightlyyyy better). Nonetheless, at a minimum, SOW is objectively a better game. Anyhow, the addition of the equipment/gear is nice with respects to making builds as is all the skills and the limitation of so as to create build-making unlike SOM, and it's awesome that you can fly a drake and invade fortresses and thus semi-build your own. It was a nice twist to bring Ratbag back and have him show as he did. Celebrimbor and Eltariel suck, though, and Sauron and the Nazgul/Witch King are still as lame as ever (excluding design) as is the LOTR franchise/story itself. I also did not like how the Nazgul just became copy & paste fodder, basic enemies in many instances, especially where the first fight with them was fun! It's extremely disappointing that there is no proper fight with Sauron as Talion, too, and the ending does still kind of suck where it diminishes a lot of what you did and is unsatisfiying. To avoid spoilers, I will simply say that Talion should've died without being "taken over", as so is a bad ending, imo. However, I still am a bit disappointed by the Nemesis system... Is it better than SOM's? By all means, yes, but I never got attached to the orcs or "built stories" with them in this game as it seems for others and advertised. I played on brutal and rarely died, but all the orcs were relatively forgettable and easy to kill. If you asked me to name or remember some of my orc encounters I'd literally only be able to mention a "friendly" orc who was pretty funny but died once and never came back, and the first orc who killed me twice when I first started and had no abilities/gear and humiliated me twice upon so, which was funny, but besides that nothing came of so; no memorable orcs cheated death nor were any of them rivals/challenging. Of course, because of this I didn't really care for ambushes or betrayals and such, even if they seem like nice features. The voice acting is good for them, though, and it's clear a lot of effort was still put in, but they just become bots to dominate and spam in combat rather than actual characters as I was expecting. Really disappointed there, but at least they were funny sometimes. ALSO, they still didn't remove the introduction for every orc where you're locked in a cutscene every single time a Captain+ sees you; it's extremely annoying and should've been something able to be turned off, especially for people like me who never even met interesting orcs. However, it is still a shame that there will never be a sequel to this game in today's era, as I'm sure something really special could still be built with the Nemesis system with current tech and engines (and now it is held behind a patent...). Lastly, both the DLCs are kind of mediocre. Unless you're wanting to 100% the game and get all achievements as I did, I really wouldn't bother playing as much; Eltariel is an awful character and the ending of said DLC ruins further what was already a pretty bad ending. Whilst I do like her new kit and combat flow, it's a bit unfun and sluggish sometimes, and the DLC is very short much alike Baranor's. On that note, his DLC is also pretty lame and the story sucks just as much, if not more so. However, at least it adds an entirely new area to explore and once again a good, unique combat kit and, surprisingly, Arkham traversal/gliding. Overall, it's still a game I'd highly recommend and I could go into it further, but considering you can get both SOM + all of its DLCs + SOW + all of its DLCs for only a few dollars in the given bundle when on sale, I'd highly recommend picking it up! I think your enjoyment of the game is kind of dependent upon RNG with orcs and if one is actually persistent and/or gets a roll where they actually become difficult (e.g., immune to basically everything), though.
