Genuinely think this is one of the best games I've ever played. The Nemesis system gives this game so much replay value. I don't care if the end-game is a grindfest, I could play it for an eternity.
Fun combat lots of open world to explore, distracting at times when on the way to missions but amazing combos and killing strikes. Would recommend it to most people that like fantasy and action games, similar to dc suicide squad only LOTR.
amazing game easily 100+ hrs just doing the campaign + side missions + getting a good orc captain army
Very satisfying combat system, and a story that fits into Tolkien's legendarium very accurately.
goty goty goty
The game has some great things about it, the captains that you face and recruit is an incredibly interesting system and the fact they can ambush you or some are in groups is amazing, the combat feels fun, the game runs well and the main character is likeable. the negatives are it repeats everything and while i didnt really play the story missions i felt like there was no point as all it had been up to that point was kill or rescue, the captains have like 20 skills in total across all of them and while there are different species of them it doesnt really feel significant, the skills are just so bland and empty as you get like 20 skills and then a few subset buffs to them and it doesnt impact the game much. overall it is a game that does fundamental things well but that is all, nothing after that is either good or interesting
Very engaging and fluid combat, lots to do, easy to lose track of time while playing.
